Bought 2 of these and neither one worked. Both read 2psi boost at idle, one stuck at a constant 40 something psi boost, and the other stuck at a constant 30 something psi boost.

Direct fit unfornatly read 2 psi higher then actual at first till one day ( no literally one day) it completely failed and read 15 psi....this also caused the 5v referance circuit to ground out and made everything on that circuit (oil pressure watter in fuel indicator ect ect ) to read lower then actual and scare the crap out of me. Ordered a second one did the same thing after about 4 hours of driving. Honestly dont waste your time

replaced map sensor and it completely fixed no low power and just poor running 5.9 i thought it was going to be a lot more expensive

This piece saved me a ton of money. I have a 99 dodge 3500 turbo diesel. The check engine light came on and showed that the turbo sensor was out. The truck could hardly go up a hill and go over 50. The auto stores wanted around $120-$140 for this sensor. I was skeptical that at this price on Amazon it would work. It did!! I had to get some deep sockets from harbor freight. I took the old one off and put this new one in and bam! It was like having a new fast truck. Five stars! Super easy to install.I'm not a mechanic but I was able to do it. The only catch was the old sensor had a different size socket to take off then this one. Otherwise super easy!!
