Easily installs (and uninstalls) from my Mossberg 590 and allows me to mount a flashlight and a D-ring on a swivel for my sling (sold separately). The D-ring doesn't swivel fully though: stays at a particular angle, since the ball bearing seats inside aren't an entire ring but just indentations to lock it into a particular orientation. Not really a problem, just unexpected. It's made of good quality metal as well.

Don't buy this. It's the wrong item listed and when you return it after buying the correct version they will charge you anyway instead of refunding. In my opinion this company makes a good product but needs to pay better attention to their listings.

After a couple hours of research I purchased two of these one for my Mossberg 500a. That I purchased in 1993. I wanted to put a sling on it in this fit wonderfully. If you need the swivel you have to buy that separately. I also installed one on my Winchester model 1300 defender. Was easy to install and seems to work great. I wanted to leave this review because it was not clear as to whether or not this would fit on either shotgun. I'm here to tell you it will just do not over tighten the bolts to secure it to your shotgun. I now have to buy another light for my Winchester.

With all barrel clamps I viewed, saying DOES NOT FIT MOSSBERG, I was concerned about this one.Took a chance, and was pleasantly surprised. The factory clamp on the Moss 940 Tac is MUCH lighter weight, but plastic. This is fine if all you attach to the clamp is a sling. But, a light, with any mass, will break the clamp with little to no abuse.A tactical shotgun should be able to withstand some abuse.BUT...I had to attach a small pic rail, and QD point to the factory clamp. These pieces add weight and evens the difference.Given the mismatched photos in the listing, I was concerned my ROC-12S wouldn't have the QD point, and I would have to figure out how to okie-engineer one.Again, pleasantly surprised. This clamp came EXACTLY as I hoped. See the photos for my setup. The pads...leave quite a bit to be desired. I tossed them, and applied some cloth backed tape to both halves and trimmed with an X-acto knife. Now I'm confident the clamp won't mar the finish or slide around.Don't forget to use some blue loctite on the bolts!

Product is very sturdy, and fits perfectly, however they shipped the product model that doesn't have the swivel, so you'll have to buy that separately. the price is right for the item they shipped, and i expected this from the reviews, but do not be misled by the pics. 5-star quality though.WARNING! if you attach this to your mag tube, do not over-tighten.... it's very easy to over tighten... barely tighten so it doesn't slide... even a 1/8 turn too far, and the clamp will narrow your mag tube a little, and you could have your follower bind and make your tube mag unable to feed and follow... the tolerances are very low, so even a little too much pressure will cause feed failure issues.... barely tighten it enough so it doesn't slide up the tube.... it has slip pads to help.... do not do this to your primary home defense, without thoroughly testing to ensure the follower moves freely. if you have a model that has an easy open mag tube, take the mag spring out and makes sure the follower slides through with out any spring pressure... did i mention, don't overtighten it?

Good solid quality piece. Had to slightly modify(remove) the picatinny in the middle to fit with Magpul(rectangular base) QD(see pics). So if you have the same Magpul QD, you will have to modify. The mount fits perfectly on my 930. Ordered another for my 870.

For anyone’s information, the product picture is wrong. What’s pictured is the roc12R and what the item is the roc12s which has no flashlight ring and just the 2 rails with a qd mount.Yes, it is pricy but it’s heavy duty and adds a bit of extra security connecting your barrel with your mag tube. It gives it a nice tactical look without going full mall ninja. I currently have one of the tri rail tube mounts that looks like a corn cob or a hot topic bracelet and this looks SO much better. If you have a Mossberg with their flat black bluing it matches it perfectly!Btw once you put a stud in the qd swivel it is a tiny bit crooked and doesn’t move. It doesn’t bother me but it may bother you if you have OCD.Excellent Highly recommended. Spend the extra couple bucks and dress it up with good quality stuff, your firearm deserves it!

I bought one of these before I did enough research. Agree that the quality is good. It will install on a Bernelli M4 no problem, but a far better option is to just replace the factory sling mount. Search for something like quick detach sling and pic rail for M4. Much lower profile, puts the pic rail closer, QD mount is at a 45 deg angle that sits the M4 flat to body, lower cost, and the OEM sling mount is unneeded/gone.
