I have been using these ceiling fan filters for about a week. We live in a house surrounded by forest and we heat with a woodstove. Thus, there is an amount of dust, pollen, and particles from the wood smoke that tend to accumulate quickly. I can see some already on the outside of the filters but can only assume that since the fabric is porous, the charcoal inside is trapping contaminants that I cannot see. Each filter is larger than I anticipated but I have them on two different dark bladed fans so they aren’t all that noticeable. In another few months, with warmer weather and the windows are open on a regular basis, I think I will be to evaluate even more, the impact they are having on our indoor air quality. For now, I think they are having at least some positive impact and for their price point, I am glad I decided to try them out.
