Love these needles, I feel like a speed racer with the way the yarn slides off my needles - they’re especially great for worsted weight. I love that the cord doesn’t get tangled and retains its shape right out of the package!

I was sent the wrong size (ordered size 8, got size 5). Not mad about it though, I have a collection of these needles and they're wonderful to use so an extra of one of my favorite sizes is fine. I've exclusively used chaiogoo red lace needles for at least 5 years. I love the point to them (some needles can be so blunt!) and they're smooth and comfortable to use.16" needles are perfect for hats and flat knitting small things (or starting a shawl or scarf). I use them most frequently out of all my circular needles and often find them hiding in projects so I usually need more (I'm terrible at finishing projects and always want to start new ones, oops!)I think they need to be a bit more careful with sending them out though. If you order, you might get the wrong size. Nothing wrong with the packaging (it's clearly labeled as size 5 on the package and sticker), I imagine it was probably in the wrong box and they didn't notice. Not the fault of the needles, which I've never had a problem with and I have around 20 circulars.

I love ChiaoGoo lace needles. They are the best circular needles I've ever used. They're light weight, nice and smooth so yarn doesn't snag on them and the tips are pointier than other brands so I don't get yarn splitting.That being said, Amazon should stop placing their inventory tag right over the area of the needle case that gives the size and length of the needle. Most of us knitters keep the needles in the cases for storage. We need to be able to see the size information easily. The tags covering that info are almost impossible to take off. And then they ship them in these new "tear at perforation" mailers that are IMPOSSIBLE to tear open. I've received lots of these mailers and never once have I been able to open them at the perforation. I always have to use a scissors. So much for their "frustration free" packaging

This is the first set of circular needles I've ever used. The metal tips were super nice to work with- very smooth. My only complaint is that the 16" is from tip to tip which sounded fine but they are a bit short for me. If the cord between the two sticks was longer they would be perfect.
