I’ve bought 3 of these now and all have held up well. This one fits my Buff Orphingtons with no problems

New chicken owner, first time using saddles to heal my hens backs from the rooster. Easy to put on when evening comes along and they are already roosting. Doesn’t seem to bother them at all, and easy to put on! Buying more for future hens!

Easy to put on and seems to be relatively comfortable for my hen. Seems high quality. She’s been wearing it for a few weeks now, and it doesn’t look to be irritating her at all.

The saddle worked great. I have tried others that wouldn't stay on, but this fit well, stayed on and didn't seem to bother my hens at all.

This product works well for my chicken that’s missing feathers on her back!

The saddle size is right for my Barred Rock hens who are larger birds. They weren't happy about having it on their back. It was difficult connecting the Velcro closure by myself, so I wasn't able to keep it on them. The material is lightweight, easy to clean and feels durable.

The design is simple and the material is a thick polyester with sturdy hook and loop (aka Velcro) straps which should be durable and peck-proof. The saddle goes over the birds neck with a solid round collar, which makes me a little nervous, and the straps go under the wings and attach to plastic slot on the sides of collar. The hook and loop strap fastens under itself, which should prevent the bird from grabbing the end and tugging it free. Great design, but it's a bit fiddly trying to attach it on a grumpy bird. Not the easiest, but I managed without help. Obviously the girl was a bit peeved and was trying to figure out how to get it off. The other girls were curious and pecked a bit. The roo seemed a bit too interested, but thankfully the saddle was doing a good job and offering protection against his advances. Hopefully they'll all settle down and get used to it. I feel like I need to monitor closely for injury based on how they're acting now.The size, as stated, is large. I've had several flocks over the years and I'd say my chickens are pretty standard-size. This seems a touch too large, but still works. The patterns are ADORABLE. The three-pack matches my easter eggers (the one shown here on my barred-rock), my sapphire gems, and my leghorns.
