It’s a beautiful mantel scarf, but it’s not designed how I expected.The “flat” part (that lays on your mantle, while the decorative part hangs down in front) is only 2 1/4” deep. So unless you have some heavy objects you can sit right at the front of your mantle, you’re going to have to slide it back so that part of the front is on the top.The dimensions remind me more of a valance than a mantel scarf, but it works. It’s a beautiful warm crimson color.

My husband picked this out to put on an heirloom cherry table, with the 2 fold-up leaves. It was just the right size, the design is really attractive, the color is a deep cranberry, I think it's going to be the annual Christmas runner for the Cherry Table.

This is really beautiful. I love it. The embroidery is well done. The fabric was a bit stiff so it took a couple days to get the fabric to relax well over the mantle.
