With this being totally plastic, I was surprised with how pretty it is. It has a circular face when looking from the front but is fairly narrow when looking at it from the side. It works well with 3 AA batteries or with the supplied USB cable (there is no USB power adapter provided - just the cable). The music is fairly loud so it will fill a room - but be aware that there is no volume control. It has a three way switch - on with music, off, on with no music. When lit the swirling glitter catches the light and really transforms the globe from plain to pretty. My only complaint is how fast the glitter swirls (as I would prefer a slow soothing swirl and this is fairly fast paced). Overall, I would definitely recommend with for personal use or gifting.

Christmas gift for my sister who collects snow globes. Amazing quality for the price. It’s beautiful and she loves it. Can be battery operated or plugged in. It came boxed very securely. Great purchase!

I gave this snowman winter globe to my mother for an early Christmas present and she loves it. She loves that the word JOY is displayed in the globe and the music is delightful.
