I love making simmer pots, so I purchased this so I could nicely display them on my stove! Its sturdy quality and the lid fits good. I use mine on a gas stove with open flame and haven't had any issues with it breaking, I just keep the flame on very low and make sure it isn't touching the pot.For my simmer pot recipe I use blood oranges, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and vanilla extract!

I use this for simmering spices on my stove. It’s great because it also looks nice. I add orange slices, cranberries and other spices and let it simmer and it looks nice. Yes it works on gas stoves !

Used about 4 times and has worked great so far! I’ve only heated or reheated soups or water in it on low/medium heat so good for what I bought it for. The lid feels thinner like cheaper quality than the pot. But overall I like it

This pot is perfect! It is a good size so you don’t need a ton of stuff to fill it up. I can’t believe how much the smell permeates the house, and it is just beautiful. The glass is not too thin and it’s a good value for the cost.

I bought this for a simmer pot and its beautiful!. I was surprised the the top of the lid and the handles were not hot, just warm to the touch after it began boiling. I was initially worried about this, and was pleasantly surprised. I don't have an interest to actually cook other things..it seems fragile but i don't know. It did get to a simmering boil and went all day and into the night.

I received this product as a gift and I am very happy with it. I would not recommend using it for cooking, but it does make for a great simmer pot! I’m very careful about never temperature-shocking it, always keeping its heat on a low setting and hand-washing out of concern that it will break. Perfect for a small burner, definitely fragile, but nice for displaying what is simmering.
