I love the helmet and how well protected my face is. As someone who’s teaching martial artsI recommend this for kids to keep them safe from hard hits while they are sparring and don’t have full control of their form.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. Starting a couple years ago, our regional Sport Karate tournament organization made face guards mandatory in all 17 year old and under sparring divisions (suggested but optional for 18 and above). But since there are many local (and some national) tournaments that haven’t followed suit, we sometimes have kids who show up to compete but don’t have a mask so we like to keep a couple handy.This Generic Clear Taekwondo Mask from FOX SPORT is made of tough PVC (polyvinyl chloride), that is very durable and, due to its design, very versatile. The Velcro straps allow the face shield to be attached to a wide variety of head gear and can be installed fairly quickly.In addition to the clear PVC design, this mask also includes a foam chin guard incorporated into the base of the shield. That’s a plus that isn’t found on many other manufacturer’s masks.I’m very impressed with this face shield and recommend it with a 5 STAR rating.
