It's very hard to find a small comb like this because I have searched for one. Thank goodness for Amazon. I have small maltese dogs and the small comb works so well getting the hair up for the topknot. It works very well around their small little faces to get the knots, and food out or just to comb the hair into place. Love this small comb!

This is a great durable grooming comb. I use it all day 5/7 days a week. It’s been used on the thickest coats for months now and none of the pins are out of place. It’s a great size and I would recommend it to anyone. For professional groomers or people trying to maintain their pet’s hair at home, it will do a great job.

this comb is the perfect size for Yorkies as other combs are too large and unwieldy to use on their faces and small bodies. I had one for 15 years and would lose it around the house, find it again, then lose again - - due to size, but I still have the original and it looks fine, no rust or pitting or flaking. I bought a second one here on Amazon so that I always have one handy.

I love this tiny comb. I use it for my Chihuahuas. It works wonderfully for longcoats and smooth coats. The 4 1/2" comb is quite small so I don't see this working well for larger dogs with coarser coats, unless it is used as a finishing tool, or for faces, ears, and tails. It's metal with rounded pins so it's easy on the skin.

It was a lot smaller than I imagined, which is mostly because I guess I can't judge size well. It does the job around my cat's face but I was really looking for the 7 inch one I guess. Not only is it short like it says, the teeth for the comb are very very small. I guess I imagined a short comb with the same length teeth as the bigger version, but I was disappointed. Nice come for small stuff though I guess

I bought it for my Maltese pup and it is just what I wanted it to be a comb for facial hair, tail and underarm in general for parts of the body which need accurate angle to comb. It is silver, color stays perfectly, very steady and well made, is divided into two parts one is tightly set and the other is a bit wider so depends on the intensity you want to use on different levels of tangles.I do recommend this product.Worth every penny.

I have a toy breed dog and was a little perplexed at the scale of grooming tools at the pet stores. At first when the comb arrived, I was shocked at the small size - then I remembered it is four inches! This was the PERFECT SIZE. My puppy is 8 lbs poodle/shih tzu, and she's not alarmed by the comb when I bring it near her (as she is when she sees the scissors but that is another story). It is small enough that I can comb the hair on her tiny face and on the brigde of her muzzle (which can't be more than 2 inches). I can get the eye crud/dirt flecks out of her fur with this comb. It is sturdy and durable. I've ad it for a couple months and use it once a week at least and don't expect that the teeth of the comb will bend or warp- it is that sturdy.
