In der Amazonbeschreibung steht zwar das Darts dabei wären. Wie mir aber vom Verkäufer bestätigt wurde, handelt es sich dabei um einen Fehler. Leider bekomme ich auch keine Darts nachgeschickt. Mit der Blowgunerweiterung bin ich aber soweit zufrieden. Die Flugbahn der Geschosse ist deutlich gestreckter. Meine Blowgun hat jetzt 7 Fuß (2,13 m) Länge.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The blowgun is sturdy and very accurate. It's easy to use as well. It's also easily modifiable with an extension and easy to find darts for.

This extension will add 2 feet to any of the Cold Steel .625 caliber Magnum blowguns including the Cold Steel 5-Foot Two Piece and the Tim Wells Slock Master blowgun. Assuming you have a smooth connection this accessory can increase your velocity by 16 fps for a 4' blowgun, and by 9 fps for a 5' blowgun. Look for "Blowgun Hunting Ballistics" for a detailed review of .625 caliber ballistics, from which these velocity estimates were reported. However, note that this accessory will not fit the thicker-walled "Pro" series blowguns.These are not called "Big Bore Blowguns" for nothing, though. It takes a fair amount of lung power to forcefully propel these heavy darts all the way down the barrel. Female and youth shooters, who have a smaller lung capacity, will probably actually see a velocity decrease with this accessory; if that is you I recommend staying with a 4' blowgun.Pro Tip: If you can hear the dart hitting an edge inside your blowgun when you shoot (either at the extension or at the connection on your two-piece blowgun), try rotating the mouthpiece 90 degrees and trying again. Do the same if accuracy or velocity seem to be affected by the dart hitting an edge somewhere in the tube, until the problem improves or is resolved.Pro Tip: Increase your velocity and consistency by saying "Tuh!" forcefully as you blow. You should feel it "deep in your gut" like a trumpet player would for forcefully blowing a trumpet. This pre-compresses the air in your mouth for one powerful, explosive burst of air and also helps you be consistent in velocity from shot to shot. It is simple and easy.

Leider hat die Verbindung zu viel Spiel. Egal wie man das Spiel versucht auszugleichen, ein kleiner Knick im Übergang bleibt. Daher nicht zu gebrauchen.

Cheap it’s not a good fit at all. Droops down, but you can turn it slow and maybe find a spot that will give a closer line up to the main section.

Die Verlängerung ist eine eigentlich sinnvolle Sache, denn bei dem Big Bore Kaliber sind mir die originalen 5 Fuß Länge etwas zu knapp. Die Reichweite und die Durchschlagskraft erhöhen sich mit dieser Verlängerung durchaus, leider geht die Präzision flöten, was nicht an der zuätzlichen Länge, sondern an der miesen Passform liegt. Das Teil wird einfach aufgesteckt und rappelt dann lose vor sich hin, es fluchtet keinesfalls mit dem Rest des Blasrohrs, was auch deutlich das Gefühl trübt eine hochwertige Blowgun zu besitzen, denn diese Steckverbindung ist ein Witz, billiger Murks. Es ist mir unbegreiflich warum keine Verlängerung zum schrauben angeboten wird, die könnte man bei der zerlegbaren Variante einfach in der Mitte einsetzen, verschrauben, und fertig, ohne Gerappel und Herumge-eier. Dieses Ding entspricht nicht den hohen Erwartungen die man an ein Produkt von Cold Steel durchaus haben kann.Fazit:Wer einfach nur fester und weiter IRGENDWOHIN schießen möchte kann zuschlagen. Wer sich Hoffnungen macht mit mehr Energie weiterhin GENAU schießen zu können - das kann man sich abschminken. Wirklich schade um die Kohle.

Die Verarbeitung ist nicht so gut wie erwartet ! Die Verbindung von der Verlängerung mit der Aufschub muffe ist gelinde gesagt unzureichend, auf der Verlängerung ist ein Netz geklebt das schon zerbröselte. Beim Aufschieben auf mein 5 Fuß Blasrohr löste sich schon das Verlängerungsrohr von der Muffe ( dann sah man das Netz !) Auf eine Art war das auch gut. Grund: Das Rohr war nicht entgratet, auch war die Öffnung nicht Konisch, dieses führt dazu das der Konen des Pfeiles beim Abschuss gegen das Verlängerungsrohr stößt, dadurch geht Energie und Ziel Genauigkeit verloren. Auch das ende des Rohres war nicht entgratet, dadurch wird der Pfeil beim austritt aus dem Rohr ungenau. Habe den Verkäufer Informiertund einen minimalen Rabatt bekommen.Problemlösung war: Rohr enden entgraten, Die Rohrseite an der die Muffe angebracht wird konisch gefräst (Trichter vorm)dafür musste man das Rohr mit Muffe x mal auf das 5 Zoll Rohr aufstecken bis der Übergang sauber war= keine Stoßkante ! Dann die Muffe auf die Verlängerung Kleben (Zentriert)Hier muss man aufpassen das die Klemvorrichtung =( zwei Schlitze in der Muffe) von dem Hauptrohr ganz abgedeckt werden sonst geht Luft durch diese Schlitze bei Blasen verloren. Dann Lackieren. Die maximal Länge für dieses Kaliber beträgt 2,10m bei dieser länge muss man schon ein super Lungen Volumen haben. Für mich liegt die optimale Länge bei 1,88- 1,70m das muss jeder für sich testen in 5cm Schritten ist viel Arbeit, weil man die eindringtiefe die Treffgenauigkeit und den Haltepunkt vergleichen muss auf 16 m Entfernung(mach ich so) Da bei kommt es auch auf die Pfeile, Konen an, ich hab mir einen Konendehner gebaut damit die Konen so gut wie das gleiche Maß für das Rohr haben.

If you read my review of the blowgun you will know I love that thing.. I should note that I bought the 4 foot blowgun so I can't say how it works on the 5 footer I'm sure it only gets better though..This extension makes it even more fun. The difference is drastic much more power with the extension.. I recommend getting this you won't be disappointed you did..

Good to add to smaller guns, adding to 5' gun is prob too much tube for average lung capacity. Good for shooting indoors if extra mouth piece is purchased.

I already had the 4foot Cold Steel Big Bore and figured I would get the 2 foot extension just to see how it worked out. I must say i was very surprised all around.Pros:-Really well made - all clean edges, something I have came to appreciate from Cold Steel-Doesn't slip off - while it does "spin" on the end of your existing blowgun, it doesnt fall off even if you try to shake it off and doesn't scratched the aforementioned blowgun while spinning- Adds an incredible amount of power and accuracy. I was just using 5 layers of cardboard as a target before and now I have to use around 8-10 layers to prevent even the bamboo from sailing through.Con:May just be my own experience but the old stun darts (the ones that come with the gun, not the new ones you can buy) do not seem to work well in it - but the bamboo and spearhead/broadheads work just fine.

I bought this item reading the other reviews and assuming that I could seal any holes that would appear, therefore making the tube use all the breath I give it.Not so. However, more than anything, when I put the extension on, after only a short while, it slightly bent my entire blowgun down. I had to return the blowgun and get a new one. I also can't return this because shipping pretty much costs the same as the item itself.Save yourself the trouble; it's really not worth it, and if you're that desperate, just make one yourself out of some PVC with a connector.
