I like this. It really does help to see how colors work together.

OK, so I’m not great with color coordination. This little gadget is pretty awesome. It’s like a kaleidoscope except you just lay the ends of the yarn skeins together, and then look through the tube at the ends that you put together and it gives you a random pattern that show all the colors that you are using. It helps me determine if the colors will coordinate well within any pattern. It’s actually pretty fun to use. I find it helpful. It can be used for pretty much any craft/arts that require color combinations like quilting, yarn, etc. I saw someone on YouTube using one and I just had to try it. Glad I did.

I didn't know this existed till a week ago. It's interesting to use. I'm a knitter. We knitters lover colors and are checking color wheels all the time. It's great if you want to do a project and don't know exactly what colors and hues, you will enjoy. You zoom in on one color, the lens remembers and you zoom in another color...well it mixes the colors and gives you shades, and options.I want to do a temperature blanket and this should be fun to put together. It's nice and would be a treat as a surprise gift to a quilter, knitter, painter, crocheters..It's the LITTLE THINGS!!

I thought this colorscope was more like a color wheel to tell us what colors are supposed to go together. Like an aid for someone who doesn't see colors well. It doesn't do that at all. You put the colors togetherand when you look through the colorscope it shows like a regular kaleidoscope. It is different designs of the colors you picked..

This product is GREAT for helping you decide what colors of yarn to use together and make really cool patterns with.

A fun tool to see how a collection of colours will work together, particularly useful if considering a Fairisle design.

This is a great tool! It's small enough to slip in your pocket to check colors when you are out shopping. Or if you don't use for color coordinating, it's a nice little (no batteries needed!) toy to entertain little ones!

I purchase this because I have a hard time envisioning colors mixed together. ANYTHING you point this at, it will mix the colors so you can make better color choices. I work with yarns, so making correct color choices the first time can save me LOTS of time and money.Think about the kolidescopes from when we were kids. This works in the exact same way except for YOU CHOOSE the colors! You turn this or just lean it slightly in one direction and the colors change between triangles and hexagons....I think that's the right number of sides, lol. The sky is the limit!

I was so excited when this tool arrived in 1 day........usually it takes at least a week for orders to arrive. It has the size and weight of a pen light. I tried this with several different combinations of yarn and this will cut down on my doubting my color choices. (It will save many hours of work to find out a color doesn't look right causing me to rip out stitches.) I think this should be in every crocheter's or knitter's toolbox.
