My 3yo calls this her “Doc McStuffins coat” and at first I had *zero* clue where she got that from. Then she told me it’s because it has “stethoscopes” all over it, and to be honest I can totally see what she means. I’m not sure *what* the pattern is meant to be, but parts of it definitely do look like stethoscopes. She wears anywhere from a 4T to a kid’s small. I got this in 4T and it fits her really nicely but she does have plenty of room to grow still. It reminds me of a 90s “windbreaker”, and she can even get the super satisfying “swishy swishy” noise when she rubs her arms to her sides (iykyk).Apparently, however, windbreakers have come a long way in the last 30 years because this one actually has a lining in it. My daughter will never know the feeling of that swishy swishy material rubbing against her bare skin as she walks. It isn’t a *super* heavy lining, so this is definitely a Spring/Fall coat. We’re having low-mid 40s temperatures here right now and this coat is *just* on the edge of warm enough for her. It does have a hood which is nice, but it doesn’t have a drawstring or anything so it flops off most of the time, but it is there. It’s a nice coat, I’m just not sure it’s really worth what they’re asking for it. Mild sensory issues prevent me from wearing fleece, so I never really bought into the Columbia hype—even as a millennial. I know people swear by this brand though, so maybe it is worth it? Either way, my daughter likes it and it keeps her warm, so it’s a win for me!

cute, exactly as shown in images. I am impressed by how well they captured the details of the jacket in the images. IT looks identical to what I ordered. The colors too! It is well made, warm and perfect for fall, winter and spring. It is a great jacket for layering on top or under. It fits true to size and looks adorable on. MY little one is snug and warm for the cooler days ahead!

I own three jackets from Columbia in this style. Although I love their fleeces, this style is my favorite for kids because it’s washable and the added hood is good for rainy days. I also feel like this style is incredibly wind resistance and both of the parks we frequent tend to be windy. These are lined with fleece and include pockets for all those rocks and treasures! (IYKYK)This weight is great for both Spring and Fall where we live in the Midwest. These wash and dry fantastic. I throw them in every few weeks (or when needed) in a regular cycle and in the dryer. Although this particular one is brand new, I’d imagine it’ll hold up as well as the other Columbia ones but I’ll update review if I have any issues.

very cute windbreaker. Pricey but it is Columbia so is to be expected. Its got soft inner lining. it looks as pictured and I like the fit. I ordered a 4T for my 2.5yr old to grow into as she currently is comfortable in a 3T. The jacket fit her nicely. She had room to grow but it didnt look too big for her. I tried it on my actual 4yr old that is turning 5 in a couple months and it fit him nicely too so Id say true to size but would size up to get more use out of it.

So perfect for the in between seasons! This coat is so soft on the inside and is weather proof on the outside. The colors are absolutely adorable and I am so happy with it! The fit is great too.

When it comes to kids clothing, there is something to be said for simple designs. This has a zipper, a hood (without a drawstring), pockets (without zippers or Velcro bits to close them), and that's it. Nothing to frustrate a kid or get tangled up. The zipper woks smooth enough that, if I get it started, my kids can adjust them up/down easily enough as needed. The interior of the jacket is a ridiculously soft and thin fleece like material and the shell seems to be fairly water resistant and a tight enough weave to block the wind. The only downside to this jacket is that the fleece lining is so soft it sort of grabs my boys' arms with they pull them out and I don't think I've seen either one take off the jacket yet without flipping an arm inside out.As far as sizing goes, we ordered a 4T and this fits our chunky 3 year old well as well as our slim 4.5 year old-- so it seems true to size.

The jacket was delivered, we opened it, put it on and went outside - it was perfect. My son is a little over 2 but wears 4T. It’s a bit long on the arms but the 3T would be too tight. I hope it lasts until this fall! The jacket is lined and it gave him the perfect amount of warmth - the material is good and the stitching is perfect. Quality that you would expect from Columbia!
