This drum replacement simply did not work. It fit the computer and was the correct number, but compared with the old drum it did not print correctly and left splotches on the page. It is unusable. Unfortunately, I had gotten the replacement before the old drum had reached the end of its useful life, so by the time I installed the flawed replacement, the time for return had expired. I would never use this vendor again.

I bought this one to try as I felt $82 for a Brother one was ridicules. After the first 20 pages it seemed to work as well as the Brother one. The first 20 pages seemed a bit gray but that could have been the toner as well. Make sure to clean the corona wire as stated in the instructions. I will definitely buy from them again when the drum reaches end of life again.Note: You may have to perform the following tasks for it to be accepted. Open the front cover.Press the clear buttonPress the * buttonPress 12The system should display accepted.The same routine works for new toner cartridges as well.

I ordered this to replace the old drum unit that served my printer for years. I thought it could spend me a lot of money to pay for a drum. Literally I was wrong. And this drum cartridge just took me a bit time to install and cleared up all the specks in the pages. I hope this cartridge will really handle so many pages as advertised though it's cheap.
