I got this for my 17-year-old son who's just now playing his first season of football. The other moms suggested getting padded arm sleeves to supplement the pads the school provides. My son is 6'1" and 220 lbs and I got him the XL which fits well. He is currently refusing to wear them because he thinks they look too bulky, but I'm hoping his tune changes when he starts practices with pads. I'll update the review if there are any changes!

Ordered Youth L/XL for my 11 year old 6th grader. The bicep and wrist cuff openings seem to be a bit larger than expected and thus these padded sleeves fit rather loose. The elbow pad and forearm pads are not aligned...there is clearly a left and right specific sleeve, but they are not marked. Padding looks as though it will be effective. If it fit right, it'd be a good value.

I would say these are pretty nice! They have a good color they have nice pads built into them and they feel pretty quality! I would say that I'm unsure how much compression that they actually add but that could be that the sizing is not 100% correct so maybe go down a size if you really want it to compress. All in all though I would say these are pretty good choice

These are great! I just wish there was an easier way to slip them on and off. But once on it's awesome! I've been working on pushup challenges, and this is great for my elbows and even help with my wrists. The material is polyester like, as is most gym wear. I have the greys, and I can use them with whatever color whatever Im wearing even if I was out with these.Go for it and get on that mat or in the field. They're worth it!

I ordered these to use in a marksmanship class. I will be up and down from standing to prone position many times over the course of two days and I knew I would need extra padding on my elbows. While people use neoprene elbow sleeves for this, I was worried that they wouldn't give me the flexibility to bend my arm at the elbow in order to properly position my rifle. I ordered the adult medium based on the length of the item and they fit my arms well. They are a snug fit and there is excellent flexibility in bending of the arm There is a mesh on the opposite side of the elbow pad along the length which offers a bit of cooling. The photo in the description shows the size of the mesh. I like the fact that it is close fitting as I'll need to wear this under a cotton shirt. I anticipate hot spent shells being sent my way and the polymer could easily melt.

I ordered the Medium and my arm is about 18" long from shoulder to wrist and it fits perfectly.My arm is 10.5" around the elbow and 14.5" around the bicep. There is a rubbery elastic at the top to help keep the sleeve from slipping down the arm.The padding is fairly light weight and should provide good protection. The elastic material is part spandex and part mesh. Both feel nice and the mesh makes it breathable without sacrificing too much on durability. Its probably not rugged enough for really rough sports. This would work well for skating and volleyball.

I recently experienced a severe injury to my arm. It has healed and I have been in phyisical therapy for 2 months with more time to go.My doctor has phased me out of a cast and then a brace. I am free to no longer wear any devices on my arm but I find that it is very sensitive and my elbow which was fractured is especially painful to the slightest touch. This sleeve has solved my issue by providing a "bumper" to the touch of the car console, arm chairs and so on.This isn't the original purpose of this sleeve but it has provided a good transition for me in my healing.
