These are heavy and good quality. But the included screws, with hex heads, appear to be metric size. None of my sockets fit, and I had to use different screws.

They are sturdy, hardware isn’t appropriate for concealed hangers. Too big for S4S lumber. Perfect for full dimensional lumber

I bought it for my kids swing set. It seemed a little flimsy for that. For smaller projects I would use for sure.

I placed a set of these brackets at the top of my vinyl fence enclosure posts and on the side of the house to reinforce the fence during a hurricane. The brackets allow placement of a 2 x 4 board on the top of every other post along the side of my house in Ft. Myers, Florida. I've used corner 45 deg. brackets and 6 in. .25" bolts on each post to engage the top and bottom channels of the fence. These brackets and bolts reinforce all areas of the fence. This reinforcement is just cheap insurance given the cost of installing an enclosure. An easy DIY project before hurricane season arrives.
