I had never used a pair of these, before, but they were relatively easy to use, given a small learning curve of how to move around without dragging the edges around, and marking the still curing surface. They were constructed well, and of an adequate size for my legs, though I'm not sure of those people with shorter legs than mine. These are 28", and after measuring my leg, while sitting, from my boot soul to the top of my knee is about 26". That said, the foot 'sockets' were just about perfect, for me.In the hours of work that I was doing on my newly poured foundation, they did not get to an uncomfortable point. My back did, though... All things considered, I think the tool is a good one, but the price of $100, as of the time of this listing is a bit steep, for what they are. Just my thoughts.

These aren't top notch and they are a little shorter than I'd like but they are working out just fine and are shared by a group of us.Nobody has any complaints with them. They work as intended.

Anyone who works on their knees for extended periods knows that knee pads are a necessity, not a luxury. In the past, whenever I worked with concrete or cement, I had to do it from a standing position, which was hard on my back due to constant hunching over. These concrete knee sliders are perfect for getting down low and protecting your knees. While the pads are not the most comfortable I've ever worn, they effectively kept my knees from hurting after using them for a couple of hours. The sliders are quite large and moderately heavy, but this is necessary for them to float on the concrete surface. Considering they are about half the price of other similar products on the market, they are an excellent value for anyone who pours concrete.

Construction people commonly use a bull float to push the gravel down and the "cream" up for a smoother finish. I have a concrete walkway to lay when the ground thaws and I'll be using them for the floating. They look just the job, heavy duty stainless steel and thick padding for the knees. I tried them on, and while I would never say that having hunks of stainless steel strapped to your lower limbs could be comfortable, they are a good fit and are not unbearable. These float pads are considerably less expensive than similar products, on-line or in the home stores and seem functionally equivalent. I think they'll do the job.
