This is the perfect utensil to use to strain hot boiled cooked noodles in preparations for dried noodles with sauce and meat.

Well, there isn't whole lot to say about this skimming ladle except it's well-made and works as expected without issues. It's for the most part well-polished throughout and it's actually slightly larger than expected which is a pleasant surprise (I don't see that often here btw). The diameter of the bowel is about 12 cm with 2 cm in height and the total length of the skimming ladle is around 37 cm.The overall build quality is fairly decent especially with its unibody construction. It's supposedly to be made of 304 stainless steel but it's not easily verifiable (well, without damaging it that is); however, it's fairly hefty and it does feel solid and sturdy and not easily bendable which I do appreciate. There are some minor surface defects but they are for the most part inconsequential in my mind. It's well-polished including all the edges around the handle and around the neck, which are often neglected (with substandard polishing jobs etc). In any event, I can only hope that this is indeed made of high quality 304 stainless steel, so I guess we shall see.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent skimming ladle that's well made, well-polished, and works as expected without issues. It's slightly larger than expected which is a pleasant surprise and it feels hefty and sturdy which I do appreciate. I also like the fact that it has a hanging hole that makes storage easier. It's reasonably priced at $23 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, versatility, and performance. Its longevity remains to be seen, as always.

This is already on of my favorite utensils in the kitchen. Works great for frying, or used as a colander for boiled dishes. Nice heavy duty spoon, with a long handle, allowing you to stand clear of some of the splatter.I can easily give this a very high recommendation.

This slotted spoon is fantastic! I was honestly surprised by how big it is - perfect for serving larger portions or scooping out bigger items from pots and pans. The quality is excellent, it feels very sturdy and well-made in my hand. It's definitely not flimsy like some other slotted spoons I've owned. I've already used it for everything from draining pasta to serving vegetables, and it's quickly become one of my go-to kitchen utensils. Highly recommend!

It’s way bigger than standard slotted spoons I have so it’s perfect for big raviolis and pasta. I rarely fully drain my pasta since I want the starchy water to thicken up the sauce so I prefer just transferring the pasta direct to a pan of sauce. It feels like a commercial quality spoon. My reason for 4 stars is because I think I might have gotten a used return? I’m not sure, but theirs is this hardened black gummy like gunk on the back of the spoon and that I can’t get off. I even soaked it and then tried scraping it off with a knife and it’s stuck there. I thought it was from a price sticker or bar code that was removed but it won’t come off after scrubbing so idk what it is and I’m a bit OCD so I’m grossed out lol.

This is a really nice skimming spoon. Planning for use with bagels and pretzels or any number of things. Glad to not have plastic. This cleans up nice and is dishwasher safe. Happy with this item. It is a solid spoon.

I had been wanting one of these for some time, since all of the slotted spoons I had were smaller and plastic. I’ve been looking for less plastic in my cookware lately. I love this large Stainless Steel slotted spoon! It’s great for a healthy serving of noodles or for scooping solid bits out of a broth. One could also use it for deep frying. I used it last night for egg noodles and it worked just perfectly, as the edge is a good depth for serving sizes. I love that this is a one piece unit - no separate material for the handle to come apart. This spoon is large and well balanced. It has a hole at the end of the handle for hanging, should you need that.

I was very pleased with the weight and substance of this spoon, as it is made with high quality steel. The pictures make it look shinier than it is (it is more brushed steel) and as a result the pics look "cheaper." This has great balance, and what do you know, the holes drain! Nice addition to our cooking ensemble.

This strainer spoon is excellent quality. It's not thin metal. It's a heavier stainless steel with a very smooth handle and very sturdy. You could pick up a 4 pound roast with this and it will not bend. It's actually not much of a spoon. It's more of a strainer, which is handy when you're doing soups, stock or sauces. I love the quality of the stainless steel and the finish on this product.

This ladle is very well made, with strong stainless steel, smooth edges, and just the right shape. I was struck by the fact that the only inscription is in Chinese, just saying that it is food/medical grade stainless steel.Although clearly not made specifically for an export market, this is a very good quality product.
