I am using these because I have a slime problem in my AC drainage system. I place them in the plastic pipe in dead spots like sink traps. (don't use too many and plug it up) The large size allows slow release. This material is corrosive to metal if in continuous contact. If you want to place anti slime tablets directly onto the metal of your AC condenser tray, use "Slime Out" available at any place that sells Air Conditioner parts.

I bought them to kill the algae in my sprinkler lines. I put a certain amount in my filter each time a cleaned it (a 300micro filter helps also) and I quit having sprinklers collect algae in the sprinkler strainers.
