Not a bad pump for the cost, the size and mounting bracket are fairly convenient, so far no issues with the seals and it functions like most inline pumps for bicycles

Easy to use and compact air pump. It worked to put air in bike tires, but the gauge would not move so I was unable to assess the accuracy of the air pressure measurement. I would not recommend because of this issue.

I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I do. It feels a bit light and didn’t inspire confidence, and pumping felt easier than my other hand-pump at first, but I realized this just better leverage and I didn’t have to work as hard at lower PSI.The white dial is this unit and the yellow one is a nice floor pump I used to check the accuracy. Considering a little air is lost taking any pump off, and the size and price of this little hand pump, I’ve gotta give that a win.Worth noting I broke a real sweat getting up to 60 psi, which isn’t a surprise, but I’d hate trying to max this dial. I only run gravel tires, so a high PSI review will have to be someone else’s project.

I got this CRAFTERS portable pump to use as a portable emergency pump that I can strap onto my bike for when I'm out.Compactness: Overall, it's a very compact, lightweight pump, but it's worth noting that it's probably best used for when you're on the go, as it is a fairly compact pump with a limited stroke length that would make it take quite some time to properlly fill up a new tire.Construction: The construction is decent as it has a metal barrel. The handle is straightforward to operate but you have to be mindful not to pinch yourself because the handle is fairly small.Accuracy: The pump has a gauge for estimating pressure which is a nice inclusion but there is no way you can expect to pump up to the 150-160 psi range with such a small pump. Again, this pump is best for saving a flat tire than for properly filling up a tired, and that's why I only use it as a "spare" pump.

I have always been fond of the CO2 cartridge type of inflators for emergency use. It's hard to beat the combination of size, weight, and capability. However, I have had the experience of being a long distance from the trailhead, and needing more than the two cartridges I usually bring with. (Yes, this was an unusual circumstance, but it happened twice in the last few years!) Fortunately, I had some good luck and a fellow mountain biker happened past with a trail pump - but not before I had hiked a good mile and a half with my bike on my shoulder. With a trail pump, I could have avoided some or all of that minor ordeal! The other scenario in which I could have really used this was the last time I flew. It turns out the TSA really doesn't want you to travel with CO2 cartridges on your person. (They are not totally off limits, but frowned upon in your checked luggage as well.)This particular pump is especially capable considering that it can inflate both Schrader and presta/ Dunlop valves. Most high-end bikes tend to lean toward presta valves, but I actually do have a fat bike with tubes and Schrader valves, so I appreciate that. The combination of these two capabilities on a single pump means I will always have the manual option if/when I have a flat. This particular unit came equipped with a mount that can be used to install it on a comfortable spot on one of the down tubes. That said, I would probably put a small zip-tie around it as well to keep it from falling off during a sick jump, or walking away outside a pub. It is compact enough to fit into a small backpack - though not so much into a hip or fanny pack. It features a handle that rotates outward to assist with the approximately 1 million times you will need to pump it to inflate even the smallest tire. Seriously, these things are not built for efficiency - but they will get you back to your car! The back of the package shows a range of different vehicles that this can apparently be used to pump up. I highly recommend only using it for bicycles and during emergencies at that. I can't even imagine what kind of a doomsday scenario I would be in, in which I'm trying to pump up a car's tire with a portable handheld pump. I mean, it is a small volume pump. (Not happening.) The gauge has a maximum reading of 120 PSI, but personal experience tells me that getting a tire above 25 psi (or so) is a task that should be left to a much younger, stronger, and dumber person! (Aka, nearly impossible.) This is also the reason that I prefer to carry CO2 inflators. I have most of my bikes set up with tubeless tires, and if the bead of the tire somehow pops off, it is highly unlikely that anyone will be able to pump one of these fast enough to get it reseated. (Incidentally, this is also why I ride with a spare tube!)I am very pleased to add this to my (ever growing) arsenal of gear. To be sure, I won't take it on every ride, but if I am out on my own and I know I'll be 8 or 9 mi from the trailhead, you better believe it'll be in my pack or on my bike!

I wanted this pump to be the one to take on a family bike trip and use in an emergency. It has a lot going for it, from compact size, rugged build quality, good ergonomics to versatility of both Presta and Schrader valve support. It comes with the mounting bracket and screws, yet there is one quite big flaw. Not with the pump itself, but with the nozzle cover. It simply won't stay attached to the pump and it will not seal the nozzle. It seems to be made of silicone, and it should have been made oversized to properly seal and protect the pump's business end. It's not a deal breaker, but a small detail that spoils this product. I think I will remedy it by placing a rubber band that will keep it in place or ultimately 3D-print a proper cover that will have a tight fit and will stay in place, even during bumpy rides.

First of all, this is NOT a floor pump. It's a compact or mini pump to take on your bike ride in case you have to fix a flat. Second, the 6th picture in the listing shows a pump head with a extension hose. This pump has a fixed head without an extension hose.As for the pump itself, it's OK. It is nice and compact, and I like the metal barrel. The fold out hand grip is nice enough, but be careful of your fingers. There is very little of a lip to keep your fingers from being pinched. You'll probably do it once and learn a painful lesson. The gage is a nice touch, and it rotates so you can read it while pumping. The gage goes up to 160 psi; yeah, good luck with that. This is the type of pump take on a ride to get your fixed flat tire up to maybe 80 psi for the ride home, but I bet you'll give up at 60 psi. The clip is intended to fit under a water bottle cage, and not attach to a rack. The clip holds the pump quite securely, and it has a rubber safety strap. The strap is essential; never trust a clip alone. The pump head fits without leaks; it's easy to attach and remove.A 4 star pump and a 3 star description.
