Shorty vs. Full Wetsuit

A shorty wetsuit covers the torso and part of the arms and legs, making it ideal for warmer temperature environments. They prevent over-heating while out of the water, while also providing thermal protection to the core while in the water.

Full wetsuits cover the majority of the body from the neck to the ankles. They are ideal for cooler environments, as well as for those who will be in the water for longer periods of time. Full wetsuits also protect more skin surface from the underwater environment such as stings and abrasions.

Personal choice is also a factor in decision-making. A full wetsuit can be used on a hot day if the user wants added protection of the arms and legs. It’s all about safety and comfort!

Thermal Protection for All Watersports

Cressi wetsuits are perfect for use in all watersport activities. They provide excellent thermal protection while in the water and are made with neoprene for ultimate comfort. High-stretch neoprene offers the perfect balance between warmth and flexibility. Some wetsuits also have added protection on the chest, knees, and shins to prevent abrasions while in use.

Tailored for Women

Since a lady’s body shape is a lot different than a man’s, Cressi designed a special cut to ensure an excellent fit. Women’s wetsuits provide extra room in the hips, thighs, and chest areas as well as having a narrower shoulder area. These adjustments ensure a snug and proper fit, providing exceptional thermal protection the user needs while underwater. The anatomical fit ensures comfort and protection from the cold while also including all other necessary features of a great wetsuit.

Got this because Cressi is a known brand in wetsuits. This was used in warm waters in the Carribean. The suit fits tightly, but a tight wetsuit is necessary and the wetsuit does loosen a bit and becomes more comfortable to wear. It is important to get an appropriately sized wetsuit. The quality of the wetsuit is great. The wetsuit was used for snorkeling and worked well for that purpose and help also protect the skin from the sun. The wetsuit is also very protective from sharp rocks when snorkeling. This is not a cold water wetsuit but it did keep me comfortable inside a cave tour, which had color water. The wetsuit dries very quickly as well.Overall, a great quality wetsuit at a reasonable price.5 stars

I have the worst time finding things that fit right! I went through 7 different wetsuits before I finally found this one. It’s like it was cut out for my body! Love the fit, love the look, and love how comfortable it is! I hope it lasts me for a while.

Well constructed but run small. Had to return the first one as the medium did not fit my 13 year old daughter. She is of medium build. I also had to stretch out the arm openings as they were too tight initially. I used a larger wine bottle overnight to do this. But overall, is a well constructed garment.

As someone said in another review, if you have a longer torso this is a bit too short and creeps into your crotch. It's "doable", but it would be nice to find a wetsuit for long torsos.Additionally, in my case the sleeves were too big so water was not going to be kept out of this suit at all. The fit around my thigh was almost a bit loose, too. Ugh, what a bummer. In my case I'm hoping to find a shorty suit (or "longy" in my case), with long sleeves that will hopefully be tight on my wrists. If you actually have some muscle in your upper arm, and don't have a long torso, then I think this could be a very nice wetsuit. It was easy to put on and didn't seem to skimp anywhere.
