This failed twice and started again. Now, after return window closes, it's stopped permanently. Disappointing. I wonder if Amazon will leave this up or take it down because it's not 4.5-5 stars? I have tried but, not successful in contacting seller( Kaling) as Amazon gets in between seller and myself. So, still not resolved.

I noticed my 2008 Camry cruise control stopped working and that little push button was popped out. One video found on YouTube indicated that the cruise control switch issue. I found this one and it fixed the problem!Just a note mentioned on the video, NEED to disconnect car battery first!!! Before doing anything. The replacement should be very quick.

I have a 2010 Toyota Matrix, and the cruise control switch broke a few months ago while ago. I replaced the switch myself with this one and am very happy with the result.I called a the service departments couple of dealers and the customer reps told me it would cost $370 (plus 13% tax) for the replacement switch and an hour and a half for labour at ~$150 an hr. All in, it would have cost about $700 CAD.So, I watched a Youtube video on how to fix it. It appeared to be 15 minute job, and I could get the part on Amazon for less than $30 or more than 20X cheaper. So I did it with the help of a friend who had the tools. Removing the airbag took a little jiggling and a sharp pull. Replacing the switch was easy. But replacing the airbag was tricky and instead of 15 minutes it took us closer to an hour. That time was spent in trial and error. Since this issue wasn't discussed on the videos I thought I should mention it here in case someone has the same problem. We finally solved the problem when we looked carefully at the screws and found a "small quirk" involving the 2 screw assemblies that held the airbag into the steering column hub.The airbag screws aren't just screws that come right out, but are held in place by plastic cages they fit into. The screws extend past the end of the threads and the cage pushes them towards the column so that when they are fully unscrewed, the small extension still holds the airbag loosely in place. And when we tried to reinstall it, the screw extensions in their little cages wouldn't let the screws fit into the holes. The answer was to pull on the plastic cages, just a touch, and that allowed the screws to move away from the column far enough that the screw extension could easily slide into the screw hole.

I snapped my switch in a panic when I was cut off on the highway, I ordered this and watched 1 youtube video on how to remove the steering wheel and was able to do this job myself in 10 minutes (I am not a mechanic) and it's been working perfectly for me now for over a month.

Replaced in my 2011 Lexus RX450h. Installation was not hard, but I was a little nervous working around the airbag. Disconnected the negative 12v battery terminal, waited about 10 minutes, did the install, tried it out, worked great. Only been in for about a half hour, so don't know about durability, but price was great.

Super easy install. Worked perfectly in my 2014 Toyota Corolla L. Look up videos but the process was a snap. It did take some time figuring out how the airbag pins release but easily a 5 min job once you know what you're doing.1. Disconnect negative battery terminal (do not skip this)2. Remove plastic cover for cruise control on bottom right of steering wheel (you will need to drill a hole in it or get another cover with a boot Toyota OEM Part 45186-02310-C0)3. Use a flat head screw driver to push in release pins to remove airbag housing in the center through holes on sides and bottom of steering wheel. Videos were helpful in locating/figuring out how they worked, unlock the steering wheel with the key to help rotate it in better position4. Put the airbag on the top of the steering wheel, no need to disconnect the wires5. Connect included wire to stalk and plug in spot at the top of the wheel6. Snake the cruise control stalk through the steering wheel and out hole and screw in the included screws7.Pop back in the airbag and make sure it's secure the reconnect the negative battery terminal8. Enjoy being able to cruise effortlessly down the road. Truly a blessing.

Google: How to replace your Toyota Sienna Cruise Control Switch Assembly. on you tube....Good instruction. The install of this stitch is quite easy. This switch is a bit stiffer than the stock Toyota version, but at 10% of the cost, for the same (so far... 2 months) functionality, its a great value.

The cruise control on my '09 Tacoma quit working. I had seen videos on YouTube on how to replace the switch but was hesitant to try a replacement on my own. After seeing the price on this switch I decided to give it a try. I disconnected the Pos battery cable and followed the video instructions. It turned out to be very easy to do and took me about 20 minutes. I used the original plug and it fit the new switch perfectly. After putting it back together and reconnecting the battery I started the truck and hit the cruise on button and was very please to see the little green light on the dash that said "cruise" which my old switch no longer did. A test drive showed that it worked as well as the original. I am very please.

Like many people, my OEM cruise control stick "popped open" and wouldn't got back together. I've been driving without cruise control for some time thinking that it would be a $100+ fix. When we scheduled a road trip, I decided to go ahead and replace. I was pleased to find this product at a great price and hoped that the quality would be similar to the OEM. It was easy to install (although the instructions were somewhat vague) using a youtube video, it took less that 10 minutes to be back up and running. If the product holds up, it will be awesome... it feels and weighs about the same at the OEM and feels solid.

Only issue was that the screws were too small for my 2009 matrix. Other than the inconvenience of finding different hardware it works great. Pretty sweet deal to add cruise control for $25 and half an hour of your time. Still gave it five stars because of the price!

Based on a review I read for this part, I bought it for a 2006 Sienna, though Sienna not listed. I purchased this part, rather than one for Sienna, because this part had better reviews and appears to not have as long a stem. The fix is easy. The easiest way to replace this part is find yourself a video you can watch on how to do it. I can't post a url to one because of Amazon's terms, but there are a lot of helps out there, though it can be a "Jungle." It took me 10 minutes to replace this switch. The wire that comes with it won't fit at the steering wheel end, but all you have to do is unplug the old switch and plug in the new. This switch IS a bit shorter which is good because less chance of breaking off again. It works perfectly. If I had known I could pick up the part and do the R&R in 10 min...I'd have fixed it two years ago!
