Dependable high quality, bright rear flashing light. It is best to mount it on the seat tube. Has stayed on in an occasional rain. The usage time between battery recharges is reasonable.

The light has plenty of battery life in all flashing modes. Visibility good during daylight. The mounting clip makes it easy to remove and charge.

I've use this light for years now and I have 3 of these in rotation. My wife brought the next brightest one and the battery life is worse and it is way brighter than it needs to be. We are both back to this light, it is an ideal bike tail light as long as you aim it properly, which is a thing you need to do with the brighter lights as well.I still have the first one I bought almost 4 years ago and have ridden in a lot of rainy weather. It still works great. One downside is there is not an updated model so these still use USB mini connectors so you have to have a non-standard cable around to charge them. I would love an updated model with USB C.

I was riding down the road, a car went by me and literally stopped ahead of me and asked where I bought the light. He was so impressed because he saw the light from a long, long distance behind me and this was on a bright sunny afternoon. I ride with it on any time I ride. Seems to hold a charge a long time. I actually have two of them that I go between. For me a great safety feature when I ride. The price is reasonable comparatively and the distance it shines is great,

I bought this light for the rear rack of my bike. It is easy to mount on my metal rack or on a fabric bag. It is easy to charge. It is strong enough to be seen during the day and night times.

Overall a pretty solid light. It's bright, easy to take on and off, and seems to get decent battery life. Haven't had issues running it in the rain.Complaints:* I never remember which button is power and which button is the tempo button, so I often press the wrong button when trying to turn the light on and off. The two buttons look and feel the same. They should have made the power button much larger or otherwise more distinguished.* Why mini-USB? It's 2023 and it's something nothing else I have uses, so another extra cable to have to carry around. Basic USB-C is not hard to implement these days.

I have used several bike taillights. The Cygolite Hotshot SL-50 is the best overall taillight I have owned. The SL-100 is brighter, but does not last as long on each charge. I use the slow flash mode that flashes about every 10 to 15 seconds. It is not very annoying to drivers and is brighter that the quick flash modes. The light is very bright, affordable, lasts for several hours on one charge, easy to mount, and is easy to remove & replace for charging. The first Cygolite Hotshot I bought still holds a charge after over 7 years of use.
