The first one worked fine, I was re-working on the second and now a terminal will not hold wires anymore. After inspection, the angled metal inside is likel bend up and won't clamp down on anything, not stripped in this case as there's resistance when tightening. Garbage, especially because a return means I have to remove the other working one from the circuit, or resolder a new terminal block.

This was one of the best deals on Amazon. These work amazingly well combined with a prop controller to program/trigger store bought animatronics.

If you’re looking for a higher switched current load with a straightforward input voltage - these relays will work perfectly. But if your input voltage must be completely isolated from the switched output (incl ground) then these will NOT work.

Used one of these for an application drawing 6.25 amps at 110v. Gave me about 2 days of use before the relay burned out (literally burn marks on the outside). Figured it might be a fluke - sometimes relay modules are defective right? Put in a new board, and bam - same thing. Relay completely burned out. This thing might be rated for 5 amps at most. Very disappointing.

I've purchased many different types of 1-channel relay modules like this one in the past, many were junk, but these are good, and offer either high or low level trigger which is very nice.

I built a module to control lights, using an ESP8266 ESP-01. The first one I built uses another relay, which works only with 5V for the triggering pin. So, I had to add a level shifter. These relays comes with a jumper, which one can use to choose the triggering from HIGH and LOW. Also, the triggering voltage can be as low as 2.5V. So, I thought this could help me eliminate the level shifter part.Given that the MCU pin is 3.3V, the only way I could make it work was to set the jumper to L, then put a diode between the relay's input pin and the MCU's output pin. The diode would block any positive voltage to the relay's input pin. When the MCU pin is HIGH, the relay is "OFF" and, when the MCU pin is LOW, the relay is "ON". Without the diode, the red LED in the relays just keeps flashing, and the relay remains "ON".The relay's +voltage pin is still connected to 5V.

These are great for every bit that they are. Read the specs and manual then you will not be surprised. I have not tested these to any limit I wish to record.

Worked well while it worked... but 50% of the relays I installed burned out after only 6 weeks.Used for Christmas lights controller with minimal load but high speed. All four burned at the output. Pictures say it all.
