Keeping my transmission at a respectable temperature while towing a 28' Travel Trailer through the Appalachias is a breeze with this. Mind you, I installed this in a gas station parking lot in a remote part of Michigan and made it home to Maryland. Mind you I'm towing with a 94 Jeep ZJ Laredo 5.2. It doesn't kill my battery if I leave it on for 30 mins as everything continues to cool when I turn my engine off. Will be buying another for forced coolant temperature regulation. 10/10 recommend for any serious temperature fluctuations. Just be sure to fill it AND the tubing as it takes most of a quart of whatever you're trying to cool and so you don't have air gaps. Quality construction transfers heat so efficiently it's near cool to the touch even after the long hauls.

The fans didn’t even last a day. One of them locked up and burnt up.

I used this as a remote transmission cooler. Setup guard to protect cooler, pump, and filter for this. Wired up fans, ran it only about 7000 miles over 8 months. Its leaking now, thankfully only when i turn on the pump. Installed as per manufacturers spec, all SS lines and swadgelok fittings. The only thing leaking is the cooler part, and its in the origin packaging. It did cool my trans. Sad had high hopes, gotta sheel out for another one because i fabbed so much to make this fit.

Bought this back in May. It's now November and there's 1 bad fan. Called customer service . Had to leave a message. Hopefully they will call back soon.

I deleated the 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 transmission fluid heat exchanger and saw my trans temperatures out of the torque converter were exceeding 230 degreese in stop and go traffic (very bad)! I mounted the Derale cooler under the bed after the cooler mounted in the front doubting it would even work because it was so small and it was the only thing that would fit. The only issue was I could not get the fans to come on till I mounted the temperature switch to the out to the cooler transmission line. After that my trans temps have not exceeded 195 in the worst stop and go conditions. Don't think it is a stand alone cooler but it is just enough to keep your transmission from melting down. They should of incorporated 1/8 NTP bungs on the inlets for a temperature switch besides that it saved my transmission. Thanks Derale!

Purchased this fan to install in my 2006 Dodge 3500 Cummins and works great. Its a puller style fan instead of a pusher, so it is more efficient. It also uses a bar and stack radiator vs the standard fin radiator. I installed this to the frame rail under the bed; nice and compact fan. It comes with 2 wired connectors, 1 for each fan, that I had to cut off and wire up. I wired a switch for the fan and didn't use a thermostat; I monitor the tranny temps via a gauge so I just turn it on when needed. It helps me maintain temperatures when towing and while city driving. Great product, thanks Derale!
