It is connected at the side. It does NOT HANG. I may not have paid attention, but VERY disappointed. The 3rd calendar that I have tried to order and still don't have what I like. UGH!Pages are OK, stickers are ok, not enough of what you need, and too many junk ones.

I ordered this for work. It is larger than most desk calendars, giving plenty of space for appointments and notes and I like that it has a clear plastic cover to protect the top page. Cute, colorful designs on each page with a theme for each month. I do not like how it is bound and tears on the side and think the design would be better with binding and perforations at the top. The back is also thin plastic rather than sturdy cardboard making it flimsier than my prior calendars with thinner pages that are hard to tear cleanly. There were also no stickers included. Nice, but I would not order again.

Paper is too thin, and it came rolled up in a box like a tube. Now it will not lay flat and will not work as a desk calendar. Pages are also rippled from being rolled up. Very poor quality.

I haven't purchased a big desk calendar for a few years because come July or August I would usually spill something on it. When I saw they had ones with protective covers I decided to order. Time will tell if I spill anything again but I do like the size and the place for notes.

This desk calendar is perfect! It has a protective sheet on top to keep the paper clean. The size is perfect for a standard desk. The stickers are a huge plus! The colors and designs on the calendars are great. Overall worth every penny! So helpful!

This calendar is very large and has a lot of space to write. It's also pretty think considering it's an 18 month calendar so I can still sit my keyboard on top of it. The stickers are super cute but there's definitely not enough of them. I'd love more stickers since it's an 18 month calendar. But I love the calendar so much I still give it 5 stars. It has a protective sleeve over it so when I set my coffee mug down I can easily wipe any spills off. That's something you can't really see in the pictures but it's a nice feature to have. Do NOT put the stickers ON the clear cover because they won't come off easily. I thought I could do that to reuse the stickers and it did not work. But overall I love the calendar and will probably buy 2 more for my kids.

Super cute calendar! Will definitely be using it! The stickers that come with this calendar have a lot of words that are spelled wrong, or missing the plural of it. Examples include "Girl Night Out" "Cochtail" (Cocktail) "Freat" instead of Treat, "Hallowee" instead of "Halloween" on the holiday stickers, "Starty Early" instead of??? I have so many questions on the origin of these stickers. Long story short - calendar is staying on the desk, stickers are going in the trash.
