Parts fit but the grease fittings that come with them are absolute junk and as soon as you tighten them down they break off so I'm just going to have to replace this kit that I just bought

It's been well over a year. I've had these parts on my pickup, and they're still working. Great, no complaints for me. Everything came in the box.

Everything installed flawlessly and after 300 miles the truck handles great and really tightened up the front end! I don't expect it to last forever but got the truck on the road.

This suspension kit is a steal for the money. Just got my 160k mile 2005 ram 1500 4x4 Laramie aligned after putting the kit on and you could instantly feel the steering is much tighter and responsive. Also it is much tighter over all bumps and rough roads now. If you put the kit on right and torque all the nuts to factory specifications and get it aligned afterwords I’m sure you will have no issues. One issue which is a rather big issue is the lower ball joints. One of the rubber boots came off when I was pressing it into the knuckle. This isn’t a huge issue because you tighten it down and it gets squeezed onto the knuckle surface and it won’t move regardless but I would take the time to glue the bottom of the boot to the metal to insure it stays and keeps all debris out over time. And another minor issue one of the ball joint castle nuts wasn’t completely straight but it still torqued down fine and I can’t feel or hear anything wrong. I will update this review if anything changes as I’ve only put about 50 miles on the truck but so far this kit from Detroit axle is solid to use for your 3rd gen ram. I also use their parts on my Chrysler 300c and they have held up well over time. Save money and do it yourself it really isn’t hard if you have access to tools!Edit: (Update) 180k miles now and still going strong I hit a huge pothole going 60ish trying to go around someone (my fault). And it pushed one of the sway bar links ball joints out of its socket and made the steering a little looser. Not a huge deal because they’re 20 dollars for a pair and a fast and easy fix. But otherwise this kit is still worth every penny!
