They work fine on thin metal. The I beam graphic on the blade is a long bow to draw. These only get a minute into any thick steel and go blunt or bend due to the flimsy blades. Good for around the house work or if you need to cut guttering or down pipes as a plumber would be great but they aren't for tradesmen that require durability from a reciprocating saw blade.

The Dewalt 18 tooth recip. blades are one of the best in their price range for a general purpose metal cutting blade. They will take some abuse, can be bent back in place, and hold their teeth well. They will cut some hardened bolts, but take forever. An 18 tooth blade is slow in cutting no matter what the configuration. These are a must in your tool box.

They help me out alot cutting and old truckinng container in my now pigeon loft puting in vents they cut right threw the old metel.
