I have many knives for use in the kitchen. Some came with steep price tags. I don't know how many times I have asked a chef what they use for trimming meats, etc. and almost every time their answer is DEXTER. In my opinion, use a DEXTER once, and you are hooked for life.

I have a few custom built knives for processing game but needed a boning knife for the big job after field dressing. Holy cow, this knife is better than custom knives in many regards. The blade itself is a bit too flexible but it's incredibly sharp, holds an edge, is easy to touch up and the handle is perfection. At this price it's hard to imagine any reason to spend more.

Overall good filet knife, sharp and gets the job done. Would giving it 5 stars but it doesn’t come with a sheath other that, good product.
