So far so good. I have been using this on a regular basis to heat a small bus while renovating the inside. It has been in the negatives (Fahrenheit) every night and most days here the last couple months. Before insulating it took a few hours to get the bus from about -2 to 50 degrees. After insulating, it takes about an hour to get from 30s to 70s. I had a friend install it, but he had no issues. Took him about 15 minutes to install.

I have had a long painful journey with diesel heaters for my Mercedes sprinter 170. The big Sprinter. I previously purchased a Wabasto heater for a premium price. 10X what I bought this one for. Thinking that I was buying a quality unit. This Wabasto was so problematic and would only heat up and shut down. NEVER WORKED.. the manufacturer did not support the unit. Apparently the Wabasto units also come from Russia and the only way to know it is after you buy it because the wrapping on the wire.. Give me a break! However, This nifty Fiberfly unit was purchased in hopes that I would get a good one for my van. This was a gem!!! This little heater works so good and for 10X less. Highly recommended. Don't waste the money on the others.

But with a little reasoning and wire threading of the tank tap into the tank after drilling a hole in it for install of said tap it's probably a 2 hour basic install for a building (not home) install. Heat output good. Fuel usage on low is estimated to be a pint every 3 hours.

This fiberfly diesel heater is amazing... Compared to competition it has an altitude sensor (very important for mobile living) a fuel rate sensor, and temperature sensor on the unit. They've also locked out pump rates below 1.7Hz due to incomplete combustion at those speeds.I've placed a magnet inside the fuel filter where there is empty space to collect rust, and two magnets polarized to each other ahead of the fuel filter as a cheap fuel treatment/de-clouding solution. Try it yourself with neodymium magnets. You can see the difference! (The heater burns hotter and cleaner)I've also taken apart the original air filter and installed a $10 motorcycle mesh air filter with glue inside of a repurposed cylindrical plastic container with holes drilled on the lid (for water, dirt, condensation protection) creating a solution that prevents the glow plug from getting debris on it causing premature failure. And get THIS. This thing works with a universal mayasaf (non-o2 sensor version) Chinese catalytic converter! Lol! You can hear it light off and after the CAT warms up the heater ends up reducing the fuel pump rate while maintaining fan speed and temperature, until it starts to lower again and then it raises fuel pump speed back to normal. This appears to be the temperature sensor working with the fuel pump to maintain a target temperature, because it works on all different speeds except the lowest setting.I used the cheapest heavy duty adhesive duct aluminum tape I could find and wrapped it in fiberglass woven heat wrap (the stuff they use to keep exhausts on motorcycles from burning your legs) and hung the CAT with iron outdoor garden pot hangers linked together and hanging from weather-proof heavy duty zip ties I looped through the tiny holes in my body support beams. This keeps the heat from reaching the zip ties and secures the CAT from moving around while driving. So far, no air leaks... and I'm saving somewhere around 25% fuel with the reduced fuel pump rate!I plan to install an outside duct intake hole with an air filter and backdraft valve + extend the duct system throughout the roof of my vehicle at 6 different exit points with adjustable flaps. I'll try to to remember to edit this review! It sounds like a jet engine with the CAT installed 🛬

Went well for our first outing in our van! Then, outing number 2 I got an error code that the glow plug went is bad (E03) ordered a new glow plug, not it- it was the complete circuit board! Dedicated circuit, constant voltage of 13.1. So I ordered a new circuit board and it works again for now. I just want to be clear, I am managing my expectations, I did not order a 1000 dollar heater, I ordered a 200 dollar heater. That being said, I expected it to last a year or two. I ordered another circuit board as a spare so the family does not get left out in the cold.Good luck.

1st this heater is amazing. We purchased it to put in our 30f 5th wheel we stay in all winter in northern michigan. We have used about $30.00 in desiel fuel in a week, Michigan. We keep the inside temp at 73 to 75 f degrees( but its 25 f degrees ). Easy to assemble. Easy to hook up. Worth the money. Now, I was skeptical but have been proven wrong and am 100% happy to be.The warmth is unbelievable. I dont have to wear layers of socks and heavy slippers because the floor is warm now. Propane just kept it barable to stay in the 5th wheel but we had alot of condensation on the windows all the time. With in a few hours of running the fiberfly we had dry, clear windows and no moisture on the walls. We were using 150lbs of propane a month or more and now are using 10gal of deisel fuel. Alot easier in the long run to just fill a gas can then load a 100lb propane tank, haul, fill, unload. Its not realy loud while running pretty much like a typical furnace. The fuel bump makes a pumping noise but the TV covers the noise. Let me just add that the fiberfill came with all the parts plus a few extra.Make sure you find a good vented location and the wires will reach your hook up before drilling or mounting anything. The original location we wanted to use was not big enough so we had to relocate. Make sure you read the direction and watch some videos on YouTube because they are very helpful.Hope this helps and enjoy your great heat source. 3months of running constantly day and night in 10 degrees f outside 75 f inside simply love this heater. update good for one year then crap has had fan malfunction and replace . Had to clean burner twice . And replace atomizer screen . As I can't find any warranty on it they seem to have a its your problem attitude. So if ya like to work on thing while freezing to death great buy.
