I had thought my smoker had died completely, and had been looking around at replacements. I happened to look at parts availability, and found the control panel, and thought it was worth a shot. I removed the old one, plugged this one in, and it immediately received power and recognized the temperature probe, and I was able to set the temperature to test it, and it worked exactly as I had expected.

The original control panel on my MasterBuilt Electric Smoker got wet and water and electricity don't mix well. This was an easy replacement and the repair was about a quarter of the cost of replacing an otherwise functioning (and well seasoned) smoker.

Don’t install it the way it says humidity from the smoker rises and condensates inside the control panel, this unit works good though

I received a USED product. Smelled like smoke. Had sticky substance on the back and the buttons are well scuffed up. I will be returning this.
