GAMKII Digital Handheld Microscopy is an ok kids toy. my kid used it around the house looking at things .I feel like the picture could be a look bit better .

I used this for the first time yesterday and I have to say, I am less than impressed.I held this close to a houseplant so I can check for pests. It does not work like a traditional magnifying glass. I had to put it up to the leaf, touching the leaf otherwise it was blurry.I did determine I have some type of pests but going from plant to plant, I had to clean the magnifying glass after checking each plant.I tried to adjust the zoom in feature but I still had the same problem. Blurry.I did buy this for the grandkids but figured I would use it myself.They may want to get up close and personal with bugs but I can assure you, I do not.It was inconvenient to use & no matter how I tried, I didn't get a clear picture unless I was actually touching the leaf.I'll hand it off to the grandkids and let them play with it because it's not helping me at all.It does take pictures so they'll enjoy it and maybe I can get them away from their phones for a little while and actually enjoy nature instead of games.For kids, I guess I recommend. For adults, not so much.

My granddaughter ( age 8) says the magnifying glass is cool to look at bugs or in the dogs ears. She likes how easy it is to use and to charge. One charge lasts a good while. She is looking forward to examining snowflakes when winter rolls around.I had ordered this for myself to help magnify the crossword puzzle (I'm 72) but I realized that this wasn't so much a magnifier as it was a microscope. The magnification is quite high. So when my granddaughter was visiting I turned it over to her. Took her about 3 minutes to figure out how to access the games. I should have known better than to try and use something designed for a much younger user.

I figured this would be just like the adult version but with a pink shell. But the kid theming goes deeper than that. I has a start up splash screen with a photo of what seems like maybe a six year old girl on it - not sure if the blue version has a boy of similar age. There is also a video game similar to break out on it, but the controls are really awkward to use.The magnifier doesn't magnify quite as much as the ones aimed at adults, but it's pretty close. The paw pad buttons are really tiny. I'm not sure if kids will figure them out or not - some increase and decrease the digital zoom - they seem more designed to be cute than easy to use.Overall, this is pretty decent even if the controls could be better laid out. The screen is pretty bright indoors. And the magnification is useful.

I took it out for my kindergarteners and they look at everything. I really can't believe what they see on their hands. We take it out for recess and just look at everything. They think it's a toy and don't realize they are learning. IT'S PINK!!

Awesome magnifying glass, great pictures! Only problem is, I can't download the photos! Plug it in to the computer and it only recognizes it as a PC camera. The storage part of this thing does not show up on windows 11. Really bummed cause I would like to save some of the photos the kids take

The magnification on this microscope is great for the price. It's amazing how things look up so close. I got this for my daughter. The biggest thing that you have to first learn is how to properly focus it- start on lowest magnification for best results. The buttons on this microscope are a bit small. The other issue that I have is you can't transfer the pictures externally- there is no SD slot, and my computer won't recognize it when plugged in. When you are charging it turn off the system sounds- otherwise you will hear a high-pitched buzz. Fun little microscope.

Digital Handheld Microscopy, 2-inch IPS Screen 30X Magnifying Glass Magnifier with LED Light, 3 Games, 30W HD Camera, Built-in TF Card for 300 Photos, Education Hobby Plants Insects- PinkMy wife and I thought this was a cool little toy. The games offered are cool, though using the paw pad controls makes the games not worth playing. I didn’t find this toy particularly user friendly myself, the magnification could be better, and the pictures could be clearer. The light is quite bright, which is great for many environments. I think this would be a lot of fun for younger kids, once they figure it out.
