I love the Diomart Under Cabinet Lighting set of lights. They were charged when I got them out of the box. So I was able to put them to use right away. They are fast and easy to install. They come with metal brackets, with an adhesive backing to attach to any surface. The lights are magnetic so they are super versatile and can be used just about anywhere. They can be put on a fridge, or the range hood in the kitchen. I have metal poles in my closets and the magnetic light holds firmly in place on the pole. They can be used in a garage or outbuilding. They would be great to keep in a car as well. If there is an emergency there is no need to hold a flashlight. They can be mounted anywhere on the car to have necessary light. They can be used in too many ways to list.They are an absolute must have for power outages. They are slim and compact, so they don't take space to keep extra lights on hand. They can be charged with a cigarette lighter in a car with an adapter. I have had two power outages in the last year for close to a week each time. I have used under cabinet lights to provide light throughout my house. They are easy to carry when walking through a dark house during a power outage.The motion sensor setting is incredibly convenient. I don't have to turn on overhead lights when I make quick trips into the kitchen at night. They are great in hallways too for this purpose. The charge lasts an incredibly long time and after 3 to 4 days, the lights are still working on the same charge.I absolutely love the Diomart Under Cabinet Lighting. I feel these, slim, compact lights are an absolute must have to have on hand to provide lighting where outlets are not available, and most especially during power outages, and for other emergency needs. I highly recommend these lights.

If there was a permanent ON option, I'd give these 5 stars.Easy to charge and install. The lights are magnetized and will automatically attach to metal surfaces. For non-metal applications, they come with peel and stick metal plates (2 per light) that you can attach to your surfaces (under-cabinet mount for wood cabinets). When you need to recharge them, just grab them off the surface; they will magnetically reattach when done.Three color options and varying brightness. Warm, daylight. cool white that can be changed from dim to bright.Day/night/timer modes. Day and night modes work as described. You select either option based on how you intend to use the lights. At first I thought this was a little annoying, but after using them a while I appreciate how this makes them more versatile.These are both brighter and larger than many other under-cabinet lights I have tried. I have not installed them under my cabinets yet, because I have found several other useful applications. I don't want to peel off the backing on the (non-metallic) pads until I must! I have used them in my car trunk, on my patio, and even in my bedroom where I want the motion sensor features to work.This brings me back to why I only give these 4 stars. I like ambient lighting, I like to set a "scene". If there was a permanent ON switch, I could use them for this. I do not like bright overhead lighting. But since I can only set them to work on a 15 or 30 minute timer, I'd have to get up and keep switching them back on.

I'm old and unsurprisingly have several disabilities that impact my mobility and dexterity. One of the issues I've been having is illumination under kitchen cabinets. We had lights under the cabinets, but I could no longer maneuver my hand and fingers to turn them on and off.These lamps, with their motion sensors, are my salvation. I just need to walk up to the cabinets or wave my hand and the lights turn on. It's great.The underside of our cabinets are wood and to my delight, the adhesive pads live up to the vendor's claim and adhere to the wood. The other side of the pad is metal and magnetic. The back of the lamp is magnetic and will adhere to any metal surface.Light output is more than adequate for under-cabinet use and can be adjusted, as can color temperature. Motion sensitivitvy and also be adjusted for day and night.Just as a matter of course, we've been recharging these every three or four days.The killer feature for me, though is the motion sensivity. For me, it's truly a great feature.Jerry

Edit: I put my other two lights _inside_ some kitchen cabinets, which is something I didn't know I "needed"! I can't stop opening the cabinets to see the lights come on! It made me realize, however, that a rubber plug for the USB port would be useful. One light is above my trash can, an area that gets quite dusty, and the motion sensor end (where the USB port is) needs to be right over the trash.I'd also love to see a battery level indicator so I have an indication of when I'll need to recharge.Still 5 stars. My complaints are "nice to haves."=====These are nice and bright. I love that they have motion sensors and you can choose the color temperature. You can choose to have them stay on for 20 seconds or 15 or 30 minutes. The longer run times are great if you've ever been that person waving their arms around when the light goes out, though an option between 20 seconds and 15 minutes would be nice.I am using one in the hatchback of my car since the existing light is not wonderful. The magnets are strong, but there are just two, about 1/3 of the way in from each end, so the light may need to be placed strategically to ensure it sticks. They do come with small, adhesive-backed metal plates that can be mounted on cabinets or other smooth surfaces (they won't stick long on the headliner of my car but could be screwed in). I also happen to have a small solar panel that I'm hoping will keep the battery trickle charged. They do come with three separate USB cords, but they're only about 12 inches long, so plan to take the lights down for charging unless they are near an outlet.
