I bought this lock for a U-Haul storage unit because it was the style they required. It was cheaper than the one they try to sell you. It works great, the first nice. Don’t feel like I have to fight this lock at all. For the price I couldn’t have asked for a better one. If I ever lost the one I have I’d buy one of these again.

This lock is brand new, and has a burr inside somewhere that locks your key into the lock even when locked up closed. if you depend on this lock being able to let go of the key, DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK. its key WILL stick in the face, and you will have no lock.

I’ve had this on my storage unit for a while. A bunch of units at my storage facility were broken into, but mine wasn’t. Storage manager recommended disc locks to others. Haven’t had any trouble unlocking this lock, even though it’s been out in the elements for over a year. Very happy with this purchase.
