I like this key holder. It is easy to hide, easy to access. Very inconspicuous when buried in loose dirt.

You would NEVER guess this is a hide-a-key. Blends in perfectly. As others have noted, key hangs from the lid and is not meant to be placed in the body of the cannister. Pleased with my purchase.

The thought of leaving my house keys outside for someone to possibly find truly scares me. But after my 2 year old accidentally locked me out of the house, I knew I had to come up with a plan. I went back and forth between the rock ones or the garden statue ones. But I worry that those might be typical spots for an intruder to look. Then I came across this sprinkler one and thought it was brilliant. Who would ever think to look inside a sprinkler for a key? Mine arrived today and it’s perfect. I love that you can hang the keys under the lid as you easily twist it on and off. The item is made of plastic so I’m not sure how durable it is but I’m fine with it. I decided to hide mine in our garden so that it looks more like a sprinkler I might use to water my flowers. I read some people like to hide money as well, but I’m not sure if this one is water/leak proof so be careful. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

I am constantly forgetting my key on my kitchen table, and since I leave in my car and shut the garage with my remote I can't always be sure that when i come home that my power will be working or something's could be wrong with my opener. This is why I find the hide a key so useful. It has probably bailed me out 4 or 5 timesThe quality is very good. The case for the keys is water tight and it even has a little hook that you can attach your keys to so you don't loose the spares, they will be attached to the top of the screw off hide a key so it won't go out of your sight.I've had this product for a few years in my front yard and nobody has noticed at all. You can't tell the difference form a real black sprinkler and even if it doesn't match yours someone will just think you had one replacedThis product is decently worth the money and will last a long long time

If you're looking for a great outdoor hiding option for your key, look no further! This looks just like a sprinkler head, is super easy to use, and is a great price. I have had no problems with the attachment hook that helps pull the key out when lifting the top off the base. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to have an easier way to stick this into the ground, as there is no pole or spear to help penetrate (teehee...) the ground. Unless the dirt is pretty loose, you'll probably have to use a spade or something to dig a small hole - really not a big deal, as it shouldn't take longer than like 2 minutes to do. This inconvenience was not enough for me to drop the rating by a star.

I have a teenager in the household that has, on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, forgotten his house keys which resulted in him standing out in the cold and rain. TO solve this problem I realized a hidden spare key was needed but I required one other than a fake rock because, at my household, a rock would stick out like a sore thumb.I spotted the fake sprinkler-head and decided to give it a try.The fake sprinkler head is solid black plastic with a screw off top. The length of the false sprinkler head is several inches meaning it easily is pushed into the ground. Once unscrewed there are two key rings on the lid of the false sprinkler head to hold two separate keys. I keep one copy of my house and one of the mail box that way either my nephew can get inside or, if I am on a trip, I can have someone come over to check in on my house and gather my mail. This is a simple item. What you see is what you get. Does a good job of hiding my keys in plain site. Recommended if you need something different than a rock.
