This battery was ok for a month after installed, then it started dropping capacity time wise, now it will not last more than 20 minutes under power savings mode.I hope it was a one time defect, but just sharing my experience.

Achète pour faire moi même le remplacement de ma batterie de mon Dell Inspiron sans passer par un réparateur car la pièce du constructeur était équivalente à quasiment un nouvel ordinateur.Pour l’instant très satisfait, à voir maintenant le temps qu’elle va tenir.

Wer eine relativ preiswerte Möglichkeit sucht, seinem betagten Laptop wieder flott zu bekommen, ohne das er ständig am Stromkabel hängt muss, ist mit dem Akku bestens bedient. Mit ein Video von von einer Videoplattform, auf dem erklärt wird, wie man den Akku wechselt, war es dann auch kein Problem.

My laptop was flashing an orange light while plugged in and the battery wouldn't hold a charge. It only worked when plugged in. I decided to swap the battery myself to see if it would fix the issue. I ordered it at 830pm and it was at my door the next morning at 5am!!! It was actually super easy to swap the battery out, just wear gloves so the oils on your hands don't get on anything important inside the laptop, just a measure I take when working on electronics. I followed all instructions exactly and it works perfectly!!! I was so happy that when immediately after swapping the battery and plugging it in, the light was solid white and not flashing orange anymore!! The screwdrivers that came with it worked much better than the ones I had already purchased. I did the battery cycle of charging to 95% then depleting to 5% 3x and followed all other instructions as well. I highly recommend! If I brought my laptop to a shop they would have easily charged hundreds for this. I am so happy and proud I had fixed this myself. (I have a Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2 in 1 laptop.)

The instructions provided mentioned the new battery must be "calibrated" before use. This is achieved by draining it completely (must remove all battery protection settings in the settings, then run computer until computer turns off from the drained battery, with LESS than 5% power remaining), then charging it completely. Instructions also point out this process might be required more than once to "calibrate" properly. Got me thinking maybe I should try this with my old battery. Did it twice with my OLD battery and... it got fixed! I no longer get the message about my battery needing to be replaced and I can now run on my OLD battery for 4 hours whereas before it would only hold the charge for 5 minutes! As a bonus, I have a spare battery (the new one) that will be usable when my old one finally really dies. Amazing, clear instructions. Very pleased.
