Works great just make sure you get the alignment just right before putting the crankshaft gear on or you will be pulling it back off.

Quality and funtion is impressive! I’m late in discovering “DNJ”, I find that the quality is very good indeed. This timing gear set for my 1993 Ford F-150 4.9 l looks amazing and the materials being of lighter aluminum for the larger diameter cam gear has less kinetic resistance to throttle demands. What I mean here is, the stock quiet timing set is made of a heavier ferrous metal, (steel) Heavier..The “DNJ” replacement is made of aluminum, much lighter material. I understand that the “stock” Orem timing set is a quiet set which uses nylon on the “heavy steel” this material will and does break off into the engine oil pan to be picked up by the engine oil screen pickup tube, clogging it starving the engine more and more as the tired brittle nylon disentigrates .. I prefer the performance increase by going to a noisier by- metallic set like this DNJ performance set. This timing set by DNJ incorporating a steel smaller diameter crank gear and larger, (aluminum) cam gear combination makes less kinetic resistance to your acceleration desire because of less weight on the larger diameter gear. The engine spins this super fast as indicated by your rpm guage. The lighter aluminum cam gear will make a difference if you can wrap your head around the fact of demand your asking of the two very different materials in Dynamics. Way to go “DNJ” I’m super impressed with the quality of machining processes taken in the“Quality control department!”

Price is cheap and quality control is good..fit my ford 4.9...would buy again if needed...note: the gear driveDoes make a whine as opposed to the stock composite gear set....dont have to worry about stock timing gear comming apart...
