If you have a smoker these pans are a must! Perfect size and weight for a pork butt. Heavy enough to get the job done and not too heavy to squish for recycling when you're done. Much better value than buying retail.

Sometimes a single portion or small snack is all you need. My introduction to this product was through a garage sell. Then I began using them for that single portion of fried rice or a vegetable leftover from dinner. Trying to cut down on food costs I found many uses for these small pans and within a month I was ordering them about once a month to put up small meals. I use these to create snack servings of chili dogs (sans buns), various types of chicken wings, Mac and cheese, etc. A great single use pan that’s sturdy enough for freezing and reheating. With this and other container pans, we are saving about $100 a month by reducing restaurant ordered carry out and freezing leftovers for snacks and meals.

Okay, let's get to it, first a little context to know why I'm giving the review I did:I'm a professional in the food service business for 40+ years, and manage several hundred people in the business. I also personally cook several times a year for benefits for sometimes hundreds of people per event because it's fun for me. I bought these for personal use for monthly church potluck dinners. The idea is that a) I don't have anything to clean and b) I can leave the leftovers for others without worrying about getting my containers back.So these are not heavy duty, professional weight, but they are fine for leftovers and such. Likewise, the lids are very thin cardboard and do not hold up well for any length of time to products that produce steam - which means any hot food at all.On the other hand, they are a perfect size to use for small events. I like the size and the lids can be secured nicely. They're heavy enough for their intended purpose but don't overload them. i'd also suggest that, before putting on the lid, you lay a piece of foil or plastic film over the contents and then place and secure the lid. This prevents the lid from steaming into flimsy nothingness so the container can be resealed at the end of an event. You probably want to do the same for anything, including items that may contact the lid, because any moisture will wick into the lid and render it useless. They're not super heavy duty but they do a good job and I'll buy more again.
