I am very happy with this purchase. The license plate frame is metal. Has very bright colors - just as advertised. Perfectly fits my CA license plate. Most of the plate's text is visible when in the frame (see photo). Easy to install. Frame has metal tabs on back to hold the license plate securely once attached to vehicle. My car only has 2 holes to attach the license plate (at the top) to my vehicle, and they are for machine screws with different thread type/size. So, I used my original 2 screws to attach the frame/plate to my car (I did not use the 4 screws included with the frame). This frame makes me smile.
