Please make sure to follow manufacturer installation and assembly instructions to ensure proper fit/usage. For use with SeaStar hoses part number HO51XX (replace XX with feet needed in 2’ increments).

The big difference in turn is radius and less effort. This is quality prouduct. Had it installed by a dealership, they highly recommended this product.

Product is a great price, I planned on using sea star hoses (as opposed to bay star tubing), so this kit was great, since it didn’t include the tubing. Installation was pretty straight forward, and simple, I’d guess 3 hours to convert from Tele flex cable to baystar hydraulic.My issue came just before it was time to add the fluid…..that’s when I saw in the instructions “do not use bay star with mercury command thrust outboard”. My motor is a 115hp mercury with command thrust (bigger gear case and wheel than standard). So now I’m gonna box it all back up, see if I can sell it on eBay, or locally on Facebook. I gotta get the sea star kit.I knew I was pushing the limit, since my install was a pontoon boat, but since I was under 150hp, and was gonna use the sea star hoses, I thought I’d be good. Had I seen that command thrust wasn’t compatible, I wouldn’t have bought it.Kit still gets 5 stars…..not the kits fault I bought the wrong thing. I think it’s a good value, so long as you aren’t a command thrust guy.

Really, a kit means everything you need to install and go...I guess I should have read the parts because it is a not a kit but.....a partial kit because there are no hoses from helm to cylinder....really it does not work without hoses

Does not come with hydraulic hoses....which is not mentioned in the ad, so calling it a "kit" is BS.
