Installed this lockset and the key lock does not function. The turn knob works as it should but the key will not insert full depth into the lock.

This is an excellent lock. It fits a pocket door and allows you to lock and latch a sliding pocket door. With the right alignment, the lock and latch operates without issues, no catching, no getting stuck, no hard to operate issues. Great lock and handle. I really like it.

A bit larger than the old 1970s latch i replaced so that required some minor chiseling. Good quality and locks tight though. Very pleased

We have a lot of pocket doors in our home - we love them. However, the door locking situation is always an issue with such designs. For years, it was hard to find a locking handle that was specific for pocket doors. Especially ones that looked as good as it functions. This model is a great choice - they function very well, and look excellent.The lock on this actually has tumblers! I was impressed with that - I expected the standard bedroom style lock. Although I wouldn't call them extremely secure locks - they are secured enough that a ten year old won't know how to open it. Great for a closet with adult items, or for an air bnb closet that needs to be locked from tenants. It is enough to keep the honest thief out of there.Since this lock handle is unique, it does require a custom installation. You will need to cut this hole in your door - that is a little bit of a pain, since it is not the standard round hole you have in most doors. which means, once you do it - it will be this handle forever. Or at least another one like it. Keep that in mind before destroying a several hundred dollar wood slab.

Our long haired cats recently learned how to open the non-latching pocket door to our laundry room, and decided it was the perfect place to lay around in and shed their luxurious fur on everything in sight. Something had to be done so I ordered this set of locking pocket door handles.When I first opened the box, I was immediately impressed by the weight, finish and quality of this latch set.All of the parts are beautifully made and everything needed for installation is included in the kit, including templates for drilling and cutting the mortises to inset the handles.However, there was one part of the installation I did not expect.When installed, the 3/32 thick edges of the handles are raised above the surface of the door on each side, making the door 3/16" thicker.Most pocket doors don't have a lot of side to side clearance, so the handles ended up catching on the edges of the pocket and prevented the door from opening all the way.I solved the issue easily enough by cutting a mortise big enough to inset the handles, but I had to remove the entire unit from the door and take the extra time to carefully cut out the extra material.If you purchase this set, you will probably have to do the same.All that being said, I still highly recommended the hardware because of the quality and beautiful finish. If I had more pocket doors, I'd buy more sets. The cats are not as enthusiastic.

This was the first time I ever purchased a door lock like this. It looks stylish and very modern. After 10 years finally remodeled the master bedroom/ master bath and it’s looking good. Lock was easy to install and works well. It appears that if you purchase two locks you get a better deal. We are considering remodeling our other bathroom next with this same type of pocket door design. Recommend
