I ordered 2 for my 04 ram 3500 transfer case linkage. They fit perfect and only took about five minutes to install.

I suddenly found the transfer case lever of my ram 2500 flopping back and forth freely a few days ago. Once under the truck it quickly became clear what had happened. The linkage between case and shifter had come apart due to one of these bushings dry rotting and probably falling apart from the force required to get these trucks to actually engage in 4-LO. After a bit of effort I was able to press the new bushing in and once again I've got 4WD back for a mere ten bucks.I ordered two of these despite only needing to replace the one, and I advise you do the same. It can be hard getting the stiff rubber pressed into the small holes they go into and if you use pliers you might punch through the middle of one as I did. But for $5 a pop it's worth it to just buy a spare.

Fit beautifully on my 06' 3500 dually. Took less time to install it than it did to get the tools that I thought it needed. I literally put some bar&chain oil on it and pushed it in pretty easily with my hands.

The transfer case lever in my 04 Ram 2400 went floppy on me after switching from 4 lo to 2 hi, fortunately. When I got a chance to crawl under to see what was the matter I saw the front of my transfer case linkage disconnected and hanging down. The rubber bushing had crumbled and fell apart allowing the rod to slip out of place. The rear one wasn't in much better condition. I thought OMG where will find a replacement for those, I'll probably have to buy a new linkage from a dealership for a hundred seventy nine dollars or something equally rediculous. Imagine my relief when Google led me here to Amazon and exactly what I needed for a couple dollars. I slipped the new bushings in place on the transfer case lever and the shift lever then pushed the ends of the linkage rod through the center and I was back in business like new. No tools, no muss, no fuss, bada bing, bada boom, done.Make sure you orient the bushings so the small hole is toward the middle of the vehicle as the pointy end of the linkage pushes through from the large opening and protrudes slightly out the small opening when it snaps into place

They make this out of a rubber that turns hard after a while.. it's also a carcinogen. But to install I had to let it sit in boiling water for 15 mins to be soft enough to get it to fit

fit my 2009 dodge 2500 4wd manual lever transfer case, even though amazon said it would not. Dodge dealer could not sell me it, they wanted to sell me the entire lever for about 130. So this was a good deal and thanks for having it! Amazon was probably going by dodge not having it available for sale or having a sku for it, but it works great.

My transfer case shifting lever on my 2004 Dodge Ram usually is a firm push into the 4wd, 2wd or other options. One day it suddenly was "free floating", as if it was disconnected. Upon Inspection on the bottom of my truck, the linkage was hanging down. I ordered this after some online research. Received it in a few days. Unpackaged, pushed it onto the linkage, then pushed the linkage with the grommet back into place using my hands and applying pressure on the linkage. Slipped in, and has been working like normal for the past 4 or 5 months now. Highly recommend this under $20 fix instead of spending over $100 at the repair shop.

Well... in order to properly install this you will need a press of some sort. It is a VERY hard rubber that will not easily slip into specified hole. I tried to install it by hand while the components were on the vehicle but in doing so, the rubber was actually cracking between the smaller holes. I could not get it in and I don't feel like disassembling the necessary parts to press it in properly. I have decided to go with a more permanent solution of purchasing 2- 5/8" ball joint ends, and matching hardware from McMaster Carr. I also used a 7" rod with 5/8-18 tapped ends.60645K17192240A48294945A230
