These are great, xtra large fasteners, a great product it gets four stars because it doesn’t have cross piece to hold what you’re clamping together. I made some from 1”x 3/16” steel and they were perfect. I wouldn’t mind paying a little bit more if they were included.

I used them to clamp 2 inch square tubing together. I had to use a file for hours to get the clearance so they would fit over it. I bought 4 of these. Also the nuts are a real sloppy fit. I bought them because Dorman had their name on them. So buyer be aware.

These ended up working fine, but I had to grind clearance flats on the inner diameter in the corners to get them over a 2-inch square tube, which was a major pain, but faster and easier than returning them to buy another set. I wish their sizes were more clear.The quality of the nuts and u-bolts seems really good.
