About this item

  • Saves money - this fuel tank roll over valve allows direct replacement of only a failed valve, rather than the entire tank
  • Upgraded material - aluminum construction prevents similar failures from original plastic design
  • Easy installation - 2 washers, 1 gasket, 1 threaded fastener and 1 installation wire included
  • Application specific - made to replace the original valve on certain Chevrolet and GMC vehicles
  • Ensure fit – to make sure this part fits your exact vehicle, input your make, model and trim level into the Amazon Garage

When the original fuel filler neck inlet check valve fails, the dealer requires replacing the entire fuel tank. This Dorman OE FIX solution allows direct replacement of only the failed valve, and strengthens materials to prevent future failures.

This is the only filler neck repair repalr kit that works by desighn the flapper door is not to stiff like on some others and or resticted flow if you want your filler neck fix right the first time then get this one also be very carefull to only cut on the outside of the old failing filler neck just above where its leaking as to not make your whole to big cut only on the outside of the tank and take your time. 2004 GMC envoy your good to go.

This worked good on my 2004 Trailblazer Ext. The only negative I have on this is it didn't have a mark on the outside to know which way the checkvalve needed to go. Nothing you can't fix with a marker.

An intellectually challanged individual had previously attempted to repair the leaking Fuel Filler Neck Inlet following a youtube video made by another such person not only endangering the lives of anyone riding in the vehicle but also failing to stop the leak, before I bought the vehicle.Once I cleaned that mess up this item worked perfectly.

Wish I had found this sooner. Saw a YT video of this used to repair a different GM vehicle than mine. Found in the Amazon reviews that it had been used for a repair on a close match for what I have, mine is a 2003 Chevy Venture. The fuel tank is close to unubtainium. Has been repaired using this part and is now a usable vehicle.

I had the plastic neck on my 2006 Jeep wrangler gas tank snap off. (The plastic gets brittle with age) so I drilled the hole out a little bigger 1.5 inches and installed this filler neck. It installed tight and seals up tight so it should work great! Very happy to not spend $500 on a new tank, with plastic parts. I used a step drill bit to drill the hole in the fuel tank and it worked great! So buy one that goes to at least 1.5 inches. Then smooth outer edge and done. Took me all of 10 minutes start to finish.
