I replaced my 5 blade metal fan on my 96 GMC Sierra with this model and it seems to be just great.

Part was quality and as described. This fan paired w a hayden 2787 fan clutch is a perfect upgrade to any 99-04 Jeep Grand w 4.0 liter inline six. Had to lift fan shroud couple inches to squeeze it in there. spun onto water pump pulley as tight as I could by hand quick bumped engine w out starting couple times to tighten against pump rechecked everything then started and let engine do the full tightening as it turns w engine to tighten. (Per spec this is supposed to be done by torquing to 90 ft lbs or so w 36 mm wrench or equivalent). But I had read some mechanics do it this way and have zero issues. So far mine works great and moves a ton of air way more than the factory 5 blade metal mechanical fan which will not cool enough on its own if electric fan stops working. And those electric fans always break or the relay blows. I tested this new one w electric fan disconnected at idle ac on high never rose above 200 degrees. This will suck a red shop rag up against front grill and hold it. Cooler engine bay means happier 4.0. Great back up fan or stand alone w electric removed u decide. Total cost fan and clutch $90My other two Jeeps r getting the same treatment!I am not a professional this is just what I did if u aren’t mechanically inclined seek out someone who is!!!

Photo shows OEM fan from my 2000 Grand Cherokee 4.0. upgraded item on the left. Paired with a Hayden 2787 fan clutch, my Jeep consistently runs below 210 degrees. Highly recommend!

The fan was not hard to install, it took maybe 45 minutes to an hour and it does create more radiator air volume.

I bought this for my 97 GMC K1500/Sierra 5.7L 350. Truck originally had a heavy 5 blade metal clutch fan. This fan is light weight and made from a sturdy plastic. Once you get the original fan and clutch unscrewed from the pully you just simply unscrew 4 bolts, remove old fan and bolt on the new one. I definitely notice more air flow with this fan. I highly recommend this fan over the OEM one.

The Fan blade was a perfect fit, and as far as I could tell the quality is spot on. Other than a sticker saying made in Taiwan, there was no way I could have told the difference between the new Fan blade and the old one (except for the huge chunk out of the old one)
