I bought these to hold up a falling headliner in a 2000 Buick Lesabre. I first checked an interior shop but they wanted $500 to remove the headliner, replace fabric, and reinstall. Obviously, I chose these clips. As others have noted, it helps to poke a small pilot hole (use a carpenters awl) into the headliner before trying to screw it in and my Buick needed 4 packages as the whole headliner was sagging. These clips got the job done. The only complaint is a lack of color options.

These retainers worked very well and did a great job of holding my headliner up. I am glad I have some leftover for my next job that I have to do...

Would not screw into the headliner. Waste of money we ended up buying thumb tacks.

Have black headliner, and these were very good for installing and not being terribly noticeable. So far, so good after about a month.

I was surprised how well these worked. I have a hardtop for a convertible and the liner was sagging badly. I measured and placed these very uniformly about 10" apart across the entirety of the liner, and it looked very factory. They seem to be very tightly secured. Will see if they loosen over time.

I put these in my sagging 22 year old headliner about 6 months ago, still going strong. Headliner is no longer rubbing our heads when we drive and I didn't have to spend extra money and time to fix an old car that I am not sure I will be keeping much longer anyway.

Worked well for my sagging headliner issue. The threads were a little difficult to get started, but installation was straightforward otherwise. I would recommend cutting a small hole or slit in the headliner fabric first because the tip of the screw isn't that sharp. It would be useful if the description included the number of retainers in the package (7). I would probably have purchased an extra package if I had this information.Correction: there are six (6) retainers per package.
