This is easy to install. Well, depending on your vehicle. But it's hard to mess up two connections. good quality has an LED to tell you it's on, and has dust covers. I'm very happy with it.

Replaces the stock 1994-2001 dodge ram power port perfectly. You don't even need access to the back as mine just slide in and was more than tight enough to lock itself in. I did have to take off the cover, but in all, I was very happy!

It works great, but I had to use a rotary file to enlarge the opening in order to install it. A person who just wants to drop it in and go may have a difficult time with installing this right out of the box.

Fit great in the factory GM hole. Was a tight fit but it’s workable without reaming our.Replaced the cigarette light plug in my 2004 Silverado and moved the second stock power plug to the driver’s side.I’ve used the more expensive BlueSea System option and this is not as heavy duty but plenty for an automotive “dry” application.

Installed last night in place of the “cigar” lighter in a 2000 Porsche Carrera. Required a bit of coaxing through a snug fit, but works perfectly as a replacement for the cigar lighter, which, btw, is a slightly different size than a standard cigarette lighter, making plug-in USB solutions ineffective.For once, the install was as easy as I had pictured.
