I don't know who put this part together but it works backwards. The right works with the left. The left works with the right. Disappointing

Since all I need is the toggle switch wish I knew if it is possible to pop it off of the replacement. Installing whole switch calls for door panel removal.

The original part broke as I was taking my dad's 2001 Concorde door off(brittle from sun damage). Thus part was a perfect fit, I was lucky enough that the housing didn't break, but it works great.
