Unit plastic slots didn't fit the metal attachment tabs on truck frame. One broke off during installation. Used metal attachment strap to hold item on. Works great and less than OEM part.

I have replaced this on my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. I had a check engine light from this. Bought the truck used and it apparently was clogged. The cause is from overfilling your gas tank. The replacement required a heat gun to soften up the hose connection. I did remove the part and install it in about 15 minutes total time. Unplug the electrical connection. 2 tabs on the back end need to be depressed and then pull it forward out of the latched front part. I had a quote from my mechanic for 1 hour labor $136 and a part price of $462 OUCH!

The item is unusable do to the leak detector pump being broken at some point. It was a waste of time and money, I cannot get through to a Representative either. Just go out and buy one at the parts store instead.
