Great kit. Definitely worth the money. If you need to do break lines on an XJ then just buy this kit, do not waste your time trying to bend and flare custom lines! Def an exact fit and nice quality, precise bends.

I can't say enough good things about this kit. I have used it on 2 different XJs now, a 2000 and a 2001. Both jeeps were in very different conditions but these brake lines bolted right up to both, didn't leak a drop, clip into all the factory clips, follow all the factory bends, and are VERY clearly labeled as to where each line goes.If I ever need brake lines again on a future XJ I will certainly buy this kit again and will strongly recommend it to all my XJ friends.

Bought this kit for my sons 2009 Jeep Cherokee. The original brake lines were completely rusted out and burst. Luckily, it was just in the garage and not on the road. Install of new lines took several hours. Slow, careful and patient is the key. The 2-piece line that goes across the fire wall is a puzzle to install but be patient, there's no need to force it if you find the right way. Keep in mind the threads need to be quite snug to seat the flared tube - stainless is a harder metal. But don't overtighten either. Use anti-seize on the threads. Start with finger tight, then 3/4 turn more with a wrench. Stop there. Once you get all the lines installed and filled, check for leaks. When you get a leak, back off a bit and then retighten. This will help it seat. You want it just tight enough to not leak at all, but not much more or the flare could crack. Once you get the lines installed, time to bleed the lines. Be prepared to deal with rusted bleed screws at every corner. Don't break off the front bleed screws or you are looking at new calipers. If you break off one of the rear, don't sweat it. A new rear brake cylinder is only $6 on Amazon. Ask me how I know.

Installed in under an hour by myself. Would have been easier with two people. Threading the long pieces through all the tube, hoses and electrical by yourself requires a lot of under hood, under car repetition.
